Couple of days ago I was goaded into having a go on a balance board thingy:

Now i have something very much like this:

Broken wrist, fortunately relatively minor as I caught my entire body weight on my hand when the inevitable fall occurred a few seconds into my maiden voyage.

Alcohol was not involved.

Can't be as idiotic as what I managed to do this week. I'm having a new set of teeth (aka dentures) made and I forgot I had an important dental appointment on Tuesday. Embarassed

I now have to wait over three weeks for my next one. I can't wear my old set as they weren't made correctly and are too painful for me to use Crying or Very sad

That looks like a small fracture of your scaphoid - your 'anatomical snuff box ' - Ouch !

No pigtails for me, somehow I didn't seem to find a photo of an overweight 40-something standing on the thing (think a 50% cleaned up version of my avatar). And no plaster cast as long as I take care properly - it's just a chip thank goodness.

@spot, it's the triquetral - viewed from above it looks much like a scaphoid would.

Ouch!

As the Master of the Broken Wrist I know how painful it is to get entire summers off of work because of such things. Good thing it is 'minor' but don't tell anyone that. I have found as a Lefty that you can put the Beer between your legs for added leverage before twisting the cap off, use the right hand for the Boat Throttle and get a pipe instead off rolling. Other than that good luck!

Actually I have been break free since 2004 when I (yeah this story again) flipped my ATV.
