After a few days in the 80sF we're suddenly in a cold snap. It's barely up to 70 today. Downright frigid. Fortunately it's expected to warm up this afternoon. Wink

We had a serious Ice Storm heading our way so we fled the Country and headed to Auburn, NY where it is about 7C and pissing rain.

Actually we had planned the trip so it is merely a coincidence the weather took such a turn. When I say 'planned' I mean the Missus duped me into a Fricking Shopping trip. As least the hotel bar has Bass Ale on tap to ease the pain.

^^ My ex used to drag me down to Foxwoods and I used to go right to the oyster bar. It was a win-win, well only if she won. but it was still a win for me no matter how much she threw in the slots. Very Happy

After the late winter freeze it's a sultry 9* here but it's been p*ssing down with rain all day.

Earlier this week, it went from 78F to 42F in the span of 90 minutes. My office mates and I held our heads, groaning "make it stop." Then it hailed and knocked down flowers, a few trees, and took out the power. Had I been home I'd have been hiding in the closet.

It snowed a bit today but nothing serious. The Ice Storm didn't have much effect on my Microcosm but there was a tree leaning towards the power lines. After speaking to a 'Jogger' he informed me he had been picking up bits of brush over the last couple days and tossing them into the woods. I'll have to give this 'Canucklehead' a proper welcome to the Neighbourhood.

Called Hydro as the tree was on fire....
