MoneyGram And Western Union Clarification?

So I thought MG and WU both used MCTN. My lad called me on it, and I realize the MoneyGram uses a Reference #. The only problem is when I search for MG receipts online, all of them have 10-digit #'s not 8-digit #'s, and nothing specifically says "reference #".

I am going to make some sort of excuse about how I was reading the wrong code from the receipt, but I can't even see the Ref # when I look at other moneygram receipts, only a 10-digit #.

I was just wondering if someone is able to give me an in-depth clarification about MG and WU, as well as provide some links to receipt generators. The current link in the Help and Tips section does not work.

I posted this up for Capone the other day. All you should have to do is Right click and save photo as....:

FYI, I got this one from the MG office at the local Walmart. I fill them in by hand. (I do part and I have a friend fill in the other so the handwriting is different) I use a stamp that says "Paid" on it and away I go. I use about 5 sheets of white wax paper to give it a blurr effect.
