Well, I know Barrister Uhura wrote to Owa, but to my knowledge there has been no reply as of yet...and since CommanderKiller was the author of Uhura's faux-mugumail, I'll leave it to him to print (probably once he hears back from Owa).

But just to give you a little foreshadowing of where this is going, here's what just landed in Owa's mailbox:

Owa, or Senator Adamu,

My name is Don Nastro Azzurro. You have been working with my man Vincent
Vega on the Coholic job, and I understand there is a problem.

Vince tells me you and Al hired him to terminate Al's wife because she
was standing in the way of this deal. He says you and Al guaranteed him
10 percent of $43 million USD, but now are not paying him. I have got a
problem with this for a couple of reasons:

1) Vince knows he cannot do a job of this nature without getting half the
money upfront. He broke company policy, and I am not happy. Vince will
get punished if he does not come up with the money.

2) Now that the job has been done, the balance is due. Vince tells me you
were giving him the runaround, saying something about a security company
not releasing the money that you an Al had a right to (and now you and
Vince have a right to). Part of that money goes to me as Vince's
employer. Actually, it all goes to me and I will pay Vince accordingly.

Vince may not be the smartest man around, but you cannot fool Nastro
Azzurro. You guys have some kind of a scam going on here, don't you? A
real security company would not operate in this fashion; it's called
Advance Fee Fraud, and I know because my organization does it to other
people all the time. Be honest, there is no $43 million USD, is there?
You were just trying to take Al's money.

However, there is now a big problem. Two people are dead, and you owe my
syndicate $4.3 million, less the $23,900 Vince gave me from Al. If there
really is no $43 million, how am I going to get my money? Well, I have an
idea, and this is why I'm not copying Vince on this email.

I like the way you stood up for yourself against Vince. Vince is a pretty
scary person. He kills people for a living, and you knew this, yet you
did not let him push you around. I like that, and I think you may be able
to work in my organization if you think you can handle this kind of
business. I know Nigeria is an oil-rich country and I know there are guys
there who know how to do a job and will work hard. I also know there is a
good market in South Africa for this kind of work, as well as some other
activities, and I've been considering that. There is a lot of money in
419 and related work and if you know what you're doing you could be very
useful to our organization.

Right now my syndicate only operates in North America and Western Europe.
The Russian mafia is making it hard to operate in Central Europe, and
they own a lot of Asia as well. I'd like to start an operation in Africa,
and I need some good people to run things because we don't speak the
language and we would not blend in well with the people. Maybe you could
work for me and you could work off that money you owe me in no time.
Believe me, if you do a good job for me you will be paid much more than
that. And of course, if by some chance you really are a senator or know
one, you will be paid even more for your influence.

If you work for me you will drive a new Mercedes of your choice, wear
fine Italian suits and shoes and live like a prince. All I ask is your
loyalty. But first you must agree, and you must prove to me that you are
worthy of a job in the Azzurro family.

I know you can't decide right away, so I'll give you a couple of days to
think about it. If you don't want to work for me, that's OK too, but
you're going to have to find a way to pay me that money for the hit on
Al's wife.

No reply back to Uhura's offer, but its early yet. Owa must be weighing his offers from a Barrister in high place or joining a world wide criminal family.

Owa has been resisting any communication from all the characters in the story. I have one more trick up my sleeve to get him to come out of his shell. If not, I will have to declare this part of the story ended.

But Sudsman and I have a great sequel to follow with Sal Coholic, Vince Vega and Company. If the original Owa does not come back, I am planning on recruiting another lad to take Owa's place and that contingency is being set up in another bait I am currently running at the moment.
