She received the $10,000 of gifts in the act of deception. That's fraud in any man's book.
She should be tried just like any lad. And then hopefully rot in jail.

I agree with Slightly

She deliberatly created a myth with the aim of snaring an innocent person, just like a lad, accepted gifts and played with peoples emotions

There are people out there who get enjoyment out of trolling boards, creating fake scenarios and revel in the sympathy expressed by genuine posters ( worst I've personally seen was someone who claimed to have lost a child )

Scambaiters may create elaborate schemes but 419eater rules state no cash baiting and no Innocent Third Party involvement for a reason

While yes she got gifts etc, her own gifts towards the victim were super creepy and well thought out for the fantasy. This woman is way more than just a romance scammer, she enjoyed the deception far more than the gifts she received.
