I picked up this scammer from a fellow 419eater. He had been baiting this scammer for months and needed some fresh impetus. Over the past 3 months the lad has had several abortive visits to MG, 2 chops by Igor's secretary (see below), several visits to Secure Shield, Secure Trans and attempts to collect an Eastern Union transfer (which as we all know is the money transfer system in Eastern Europe). The characters he has been introduced to are Igor (the Czech victim), Elizabeth (Igor's duplitious lover/secretary and as it turns out chopper extraordinaire), James (the every helpful WU Security Man who has helped the lad navigate the various WU security systems), Duncan (the foul mouthed IT expert and ex-employee of Igor's who resigned to protect Elizabeth after the lad snitched on her to Igor) and last but not least Patrick (a fictitious fellow scammer who is running the FBI recovery scam on poor, gullible Igor). I have even got the lad writing emails in the Czech language (he is using an on line translator) to explain things to Igor.

If it is confusing for you (as it is for me) then it is certainly paying dividends on getting the lad to write quite involved emails as he gets increasingly desperate to get his pay off. Here is the latest:-

number to her so that she can give it to you to help pick up the
funds.Although this won't be possible like the Eastern-Union because
WU security is stronger and more efficient.

This is the same reason Mr Igor is writing Mr Patrick who pretends to
be an FBI Agent,Tell me how can i fake to be an FBI in Nigeria we both
know there is no FBI operating in NIGERIA.

Mr Igor wrote me on the 15th and was worried that he has NOT heard
from me for a while now,and this is because you keep deleting the
mails i send to him.Mr Patric the fake FBI guy succeeded in convincing
him pay $400 and this is really sad because Igor believes he is
helping him investigate Mr Art Wikle and that the FBI will compensate
him for the lose of $1700 which is all a bunch of Crap,Igor is too
blind to see that the FBI do NOT compensate anyone and Patrick is a
SCAM and NOT an FBI Agent.

I need your help Mr Duncan,and i know you won't want to help me
because you still feel i am the enemy.If you can send me your phone
number i can call you and we talk.

I really need you to see Mr Igor without letting Elizabeth know about
it,Try and convince him to go to the WU office where he made the
payment,His money is still untouched at the WU office where he made
the payment.

Again,I need to plead with you to please STOP deleting the mails i
send to Igor,i beg of you. Igor is in the Hands of Patrick because he
think i don't want to talk to him anymore

since you keep deleting my messages to him.This is why i need to proof
a point for you to believe me.Even if you are still very angry at
me,At least allow Mr Igor read my messages,And if you send the pass
word to Elizabeth,she might change it seriously believe me.

All i ask for is for you to convince Mr Igor to go to WU and collect
back his Money and also please stop deleting my messages to Igor.We
can both do business together if you want BUT without the consent of
Elizabeth.

YOU CAN HACK ELIZABETH PASS WORD AND CHECK ALL HER SENT MESSAGES TO
ME,THEN YOU WILL FIND THE TRUTH

That is a bloody nice dolla chop. Kudos. Mine always goes wrong in one way or another. Either the lad is to thick to understand what happened or he doesn't care and moves on the the next step of his script.

Thanks! I have to say that sometimes you strike lucky with chops and sometimes you don't. In general I always try and casually introduce an additional character in advance and it isn't such a jolt to the lad when he gets chopped especially if he has written to them himself. They then seem to get some "injured pride syndrome" and start digging deeper. This is the second time I have used the 'dumb European, savvy English secretary' routine. The last one was equally as successful (its in the Published Works somewhere) and I still enjoy sending gloat emails to the lad concerned advising him of my characters latest foreign holiday or cruise.

I'd love to give the full SP on this particular bait but it has gotten quite involved and as the lad himself says "I want to let go of this issue BUT something keeps drawing me back". Hopefully this particular lad has many more months of frustration ahead of him.

Next email from the lad - do I detect some desperation creeping in? He still hasn't got it through his thick skull that Elizabeth KNOWS his stupid ATM card is a fake but he is still ploughing on with the charade. Happy times.

that wasn't good for the Business so i had no choice than to demand
for another $1700 just to make sure the Tax Clearance was paid and the
ATM CARD released to me THAT at that point in time was the most
IMPORTANT thing.

So i didn't double cross you like you said,It was for the progress of this deal.

Now if we must work together,You have to send part of the funds to me
so i can pay for the release of the ATM CARD,there we can have access
to the Card and then business kicks off.

In this business we have just 3 Rules,that will Govern the success of
this business

1.TRUST
2.No Double Crossing

This guy is pure gold. He wants us all to be friends again. Of course I'm prepared to let bygones be bygones - until the next time. He certainly seems to have a hang up about "Greed" or more likely losing nearly $5000 to better scammers than him. He still has 1700 lurking in the Security Shield system and maybe he should be pursuaded to answer another 70 questions over a few more sessions.

@Jim [summary]Igor is getting scammed by David M4rk and his aliases Art W1kle and Felix M4pe. Anytime he sends money (using all the usual delaying tactics plus a few I've thought up alont the way) Igor's secretary Elizabeth steals the money. Duncan (an IT guy who used to work for Igor) took the rap when David snitched on Elizabeth and since then David has been asking Elizabeth to send over $1700 as he feels cheated by her. Now Igor has had another [fake] scammer who Igor is sending money to so that Art W1kle is arrested. PHEW - hope that makes sense.

Czech translators are pretty good with the odd inconsistency. I find that Igor's mangling of the English language gives the lad more work to do as he tries to work out why he never seems to get his payoff from him.

Been a while so hope this doesn't count as tombstoning. This lad still thinks he can twist everyone around his finger and has the charm of a god despite 8 months of getting a grand total of $0 for all his effort. We almost had him on safari a couple of weeks ago and I'm sure this slow burner will travel eventually. Here's the latest.
