hi all, after spending a good few months amusing myself with reading some baits perpetrated i decided to set up an email account and try some baiting myself. i have to say after reading so many baits i had a fair idea of how to proceed, and shamelessly stole some ideas as regards excuses for not sending money etc, so if i get the chance to post the (exceedingly long) bait i apologise in advance for stealing previous baiters ideas!

it worked out pretty well, with my baiting persona (the good reverend jizz m jockey) managing to get a total of about 40 minutes of calls from the lad in ghana, as well as him driving 3 hours across ghana from accra to meet the good rev for dinner (the reverend just happened to be in ghana doing some work with his ministry) and lo and behold when he got there the reverend was not there.

needless to say i was pleased with how it went, and selected another one to bait from the now vast array of emails in the good reverends inbox (i think i maybe overdid it on the guestbook registering!)

i have now reached the point with this new scam where i could be doing with some advise on how to proceed, as well as some help with ladspeak!

i set up another persona in the guise of barrister obafemi akpala (i got the name from the random first name and last name of two of the nigerian world cup team) as i figured this would be a good way of getting round the sending no money aspect of the bait, ie 'i have sent the money to the barrister akpala', they then think some other scammer has 'their money' but hopefully also confirms the thought that the good reverend is a good scam target. so i emailed the scammer in the guise of barrister akpala, and in my best pidgin ladspeak asked him to lay off the reverend. the scammer replied, and from what i can gather, he wants to be barrister akpalas friend.......... here is his reply:

Na zo let us play the game, i sure say you nor get the maga password oooooooo, add me for ur messager [email protected]

so....... i figure i can really mess with him now on two fronts, however i realise if the barrister adds him to messenger i am probably going to have to get up to speed pretty quick on ladspeak.

any advise from the more experienced out there? or should i just put this scammers probably real email address on some guestbooks just to mess with him?

Not all lads use ladspeak, use proper English and use it to tease the lad that he's a low-rent yahooyahoo boy talking ladglish Wink

As for shamelessly stealing ideas, that's the whole very point of this forum - steal away!!!

From where to where did the lad travel?

from accra in ghana to the golden tulip hotel bar in kumasi ghana.

i reckon distance wise it was a good few hours. after a couple of weeks of baiting back and forth with him i thought it might be good to meet him in ghana 'with his money', so i said i had to travel there for missionary work blah blah, and he could meet my persona one night for a meal and handover of money

Welcome, rev! As mbl said, no need to apologize. You didn't steal anything. We all share our successes (and failures) and learn from each other. Makes us all better baiters and that much bigger a pain in the ass to the lads. Razz
