Got this today from another 'Should be Secular Humanist', it sounded a bit like preist giving me the last rites Smile

As I'm not really old and sick, the scammer is completely wasting his time praying to a non-exisistent entity to help my non-existent characters non-existent disease get better so he can get his non-existent cash, therefore he 'Should be' a 'Secular Humanist' who would not believe in all that crap therefore saving his own time Wink

You know (uh oh - the long dormant biologist in me is about to bust out)... you could take this in the other direction and start lumping lads into taxonomic families based on the type of trophy.

Examples :
Siggipiggidae - Lads who give up bank accounts
Photogoofiidae - Lads who get pictures of themselves taken wearing silly outfits/adornments

You get the idea...

BTW, the -idae suffix - pronounced ee-dee for you non-Latin speakers - is the naming convention designating a taxonomic family of animals.

Letting my inner biologist run wild... Wink

You could also make up Latin-esque genus and species names based on the lad's name and the baiter who discovered the species. Just add suffixes like -ium, -ia, -icum, -ii, etc. Example: Hecturdia justjaneii. Latin genus and species names are always italicized. Naming a new species after its discoverer is common practice in biologic taxonomy.

Thanks Raga Man, two funny submissions. This pseudo-study into scammer genus is just a bit of fun. Although I have found it quite useful for my baits in identifiying what makes them tick, getting them off script, and what I can make them do.
We all know scammers are human beings and have the same mixed bag emotions and feelings as the rest of us. It's just that they tend to have less scruples when it comes to stealing other peoples hard earned money. I think this is more akin to criminal profiling.
I'm probably the least qualified person to be doing this sort of thing. I didn't even study Biology at school.

The number of lad taxonomic families is going to be somewhat limited. However, people are certainly welcome to offer alternative names for the same family. Some names are going to be more amusing than others. I think I'll let others have a little fun with this if they wish but here is one more:
Humiliatoritualidae - Lads performing degrading rituals.

The Latin genus and species thing, however, is an entirely different story. For all the different lad types identified on the previous pages of this thread (and all the ones still to come) there is a prototype example that could be used for naming purposes. I'll leave it to whoever posted the original submission to do that if they want - WAAAAY too much work for me. Very Happy
