Remember the swine flu thread, and all the dire warnings that we were going to die of the pig fever? It was all a con dreamed up by the drug companies, reports say.

It is interesting the death rate of the H1N1 is close to that of the regular flu percentage wise. I call shenannigans!!!

It could be a zombie virus pre-cursor....

Thanks for posting this Roy!

There seems to be a lot of things that are being perpetrated on the populace these days that promise certain doom. There are multiple entities and individuals that gain from such actions.

I loved this line in the article:

Always with the post script of "Better to have done something than nothing..." Really? My eleven year old thinks he has the pig virus every time he feels the slight bit "off". Didn't sleep well, must be the SF. Got into the candy jar too much, must be the SF. Ate too much and tummy hurts, must be the SF. Sheesh! I was reading an article of Psychological Terrorist (okay a blog ) that was interesting in relation to this issue.

I am now looking for an island to buy, or a cave to hide out in. Shocked

WE seem to have reeled from one news story to another. every time someone dies from the H1N1 there is a big hew and cry about the dangers. I am of the opinion that more peopel have dies from the regular flu than H1N1. If it is not a scam then it definatly at minimum has been a waste of everyones time.

I like maple coated bacon. At my home, Sunday night is bacon night and any other day I can get my wife to cook bacon.

Not store bought bacon either. I get bacon only from Dakin farm. They also have very good smoked cheese.

My grandmother is 85 and she had SF a couple of weeks ago.
She came through it no problem.

The Zombie virus will be a different kettle of fish though.

Bacon is good. My Alma mater, Auburn University, has one of the best vet schools on the planet (really). There was a "swine research unit" associated with the vet school, and they sold the best bacon there, made from pigs that had hardly been experimented on at all. Yum. (Sorry, Jose, they incinerated the meat from the experimental zombies.

@Corona, we Michigan State alums (are you an alum if you didn't graduate?) might take issue on where the best ag and vet school is. Wink

My GP insists on my getting a (regular) flu shot every year. He hasn't even suggested an H1N1 shot, and I've been to him three times in the past 6 months, most recently just a week ago. He doesn't seem concerned, even though I'm in one of those groups that are "vulnerable." I trust my GP - he's kept me on the straight and narrow for two years now.

I'm sorry to hear that Roy. You can try a trick that works for me. Slowly wave your hand in front of your wife's face. State calmly but assertively " You don't need to worry about my heart... you want to make me some bacon" This always works for me.

Back on topic, I have not even considered the H1N1 shot yet. I've heard people have died from it but I suspect that is a load of crap.

No, not faking it. She has dystonia, but it isn't caused by the vaccine. It's psychogenic. Read the story HERE. Remember how she was talking? How hard it was for her? Keep that in mind when you watch the video of her a month later (also on that link). Suddenly she is all better. It was all a matter of propaganda.

I got a swine flu shot (even though I don't belong to any kind of risk-group).

The guys at my university/hospital offered it (I'm studying medicine (but don't have any contact with patients yet)) and I couldn't think of any reason why not, so I had it. Didn't notice any side-effects (apart from the sense of having a small sphere in your arm the first couple of hours after the shot, but that'll probably be the microchip... *nothing to worry about)

EDIT: Regarding cheerleader video. It's sad for that girl, but this doesn't necessarily mean that it's caused by the flu shot. And if it IS caused by the flu shot it might very well be possible that really getting the Swine Flu would've caused this as well.
