I was performing an email clean-out today when I discovered an email from "WarningMichael". My sent items then confirmed the background - someone posing as said WarningMichael from my Monstoday email. I followed the links to read about Jane's saga, scam-baiting a 419 scammer by the name of Dave. (I gotta say that I'm pretty impressed Jane!!) The dates of my sent emails coincided with a friend who I had staying with me at the time. After a quick phone call to him, querying the matter, it turned out that he used my email.
I signed up to 419 now, as I will accept full responsibility of the grief that it caused on Jane's scam-baiting. Please accept my apologies. My lesson learnt here - is for me not to leave my computer logged into email. I will have a read around this site because there are some very informative stories on how to avoid 419.

Aww thanks Jane  I'll definitely have a read around on the stickies, and I've also read the introductory PM. Yes, you quickly found out on dA that I'm a small** fan of Lilo & Stitch Disney films!
