My first baited bank details. Any help please?

Hi everyone first post and it's for help. (' Rolling Eyes

')
Should've introduced myself sooner but wanted to lose my milk teeth first!

I've got a russian love scammer on the hook and she's given me her bank details but looking through the FAQs especially sending details to Alan I just want to make sure I don't need to get more info from her/him.

I note that an IBAN code is mentioned but this hasn't been supplied. Are the details below just to test me? Am I supposed to say I've tried to transfer funds but they didn't go through? This scammers pretty good. Not too much script and reads replies properly.

Advice on whether the details below are Alan ready much appreciated.

G'day Phil, Welcome to Eater.

Getting a bank account out of a Vlad is not easy, there few and far
between, Going by her /his /it's location YOSHKAR - OLA, You might
find it's going to me a Translation Scam. But as you haven't posted any e-mails we won't know.

With a translation scam, You will get an e-mail from someone else, who preports to own a translation Company. And they will tell you that dear
little Ludwinka is heart broken, as she can no longer afford to have your wonderful letters translated, and would you care to help out with the costs.
They then supply a list of costs, In effect it's a scam in a scam. As while
you pay for say three months translation fee's, The Love of your life could well dump you the next day

I'll send to Alan as is but will delay the vlad anyway. I'll post the email exchange as soon as it's reached it's conclusion. If only for the bit where I asked if s/he was a natural blonde! The response made me laugh out loud.

Well, it's been a couple of days since I sent the bank details to Alan and my Vlad hasn't mentioned the non-arrival of the money. I'd have thought they'd expect to see it fairly quickly and would be a bit miffed or suspicious when it's not there. Is this normal for a vlad?

Well, as normal as you can be when you're impersonating a woman.

No translation fee mails so I don't think it's one of those. Curious. Or have I just got newbs impatience?

Being a vlad you maynot hear anything from them, doesnt take much for them to just drop you and they dont respond at least to my experience like a lad would.

I'm pleased to say though that this one seems pretty hooked. We're in the process of sorting out when I'm visiting for Xmas! I'm hoping for a missed flight / hotel booking error combo!!

I just thought it odd that there's been no "Where's my money?" kind of mail but it's early days on that aspect of the bait I guess.

yea you maynot get that reaction from it if its bank was closed i have gotten my first bank account last night all but the swift code so hopefully mine will send it soon.

Don't bring up the subject of Money, EVER. that's what they do, you just change the subject. Once you start sending fake receipts. It's the beginning of the end.
These people send out thousands and thousands of e-mails every week. That's why they use a mass mailer program. So it's no lose to dump you
and move on.

I'll try to be less accommodating in future. It had given me the old "can't pay for the internet anymore" guff and asked for money. I want to try and at least give it the idea that it might have succeeded and then try to royally mess it about when the cash ain't there. hopefully.

I'll try and post one of my other baits that's finished. I'm new at this so still getting to grips with the quote buttons and what have you.

That's no good, a couple of things that are worth a try, Ask for it's address and then you can send it a pre-paid internet card. or ask for the cafes bank details, then you can pay the account for her

Normally, she will tell you she's on struggle street, Loves you, so much, but can't afford to pay the high fee's, and in most cases it's not negotiable
