i guess that you know i was in an accident last night. It wasn't my fault really there was a group of deer crossing the road and I swerved so I wouldn't hit them and went into a ditch. I think you saved yourself quite good there, but ofcourse he's going to be cautious now. Handle with care.

I see a few options here:

*This Michael is a troll, read your story here and decided it would be fun to ruin all your hard work

*By any chance, it is a fellow baiter, who also uses the name jane and decided to burn him. A new one, obviously. Not necessarily of these forums, could be a freelancer.

*Your lad found this forum and decides to test you (but I think this is unlikely, since he kees talking to you)

*Someone hacked into his email account and thinks he can save you, a victim, by trying to let the scammer turn away from you. Also very unlikely, since it would be just easier to send YOU a mail you're talking to one.

I can't think of anything else, really. Let's see where this goes.

Eater keeps the love/dating forum out in the public for a good reason. This part of the forum is open for google bots. If a victim would do research on someone (s)he is mailing with and (s)he found this, the vic would be alerted that it is a scammer. So I don't see it happening that this gets moved behind a login. In the end, a vic being saved is more important than keeping a bait alive.

Publishing an ongoing bait always carries small risks, sadly enough. That being said, it is a very rare occurence that things like this happen. I don't see a reason to become paranoid here.

Janes thoughts for this morning: Jane is aware she needs to be more vigilant with her posting details and is proud that she was able to gather so much information on this scammer and hopefully has prevented someone from falling victim to him. This bait has lasted close to 6 weeks and went longer then she thought possible and through this bait has learned so much and wishes to thank all for all the patient help and comments made to this self admitted newb on the internet Very Happy

Now back to business, If Jane hears from her love today she is somehow going to use what has happened and her fear of someone having her idenity to her advantage to delay again sending any funds to her love. Twisted Evil

Well it appears that this bait is over on the downside if this didn't happen Jane feels she could have keep it going for a few weeks more and maybe who knows get the elusive bank account from him, the upside is that this frees Janes time, his chat sessions would last somtimes 3-4 hours and the knowledge gained from this bait has prepared her for anything they may throw at her. She would aslo appreciate any comments, critiques so she may become a better baiter. Thanks to all who have read this thread Smile
