Checking my Dizty Housewife's account I've gotten two messages via Yahell's invitation programme. Now the content (which I'll post in surplus letters), is basic "get me the money" junk, but the disturbing thing is, because it's an invitation and NOT an email, all IP headers point to Sunnyvale and NOT to the OP's address.

Do you think they've twigged? Or just a lucky accident for them? Evil or Very Mad

Any follow-up e-mail will go through their 'regular' account. Using the invitation programme is just a way to circumvent spam-filters.

That's funny, 'cos BOTH of these suckers arrived in my Yahell spam filter! Laughing

Actually, the lads have been doing this at least since I started baiting.

I think it has more to do with convenience than it does with masking IPs. I typically ignore them because they've shown straight off the bat that they're lazy.

But it's no biggie since, as MOP has said, when you write to them and they respond, the IP will be visible as it normally is.

I only do romance baits anyways, but since this is the first time I've gotten these, I thought they might be new. Especially since in RL I've had a few Yahell accounts since 1997 and I've been lucky enough to not see these before.

But I might keep it in mind and try turn one into a romance bait. Thanks for the heads up guys
