Has my lad been baited before?

My lad started off with the "I'm in China dying of cancer" line. His I.P. is Nigeria (Abuja) so I think pretending to be in another country says he may have been on safari before? I've offered to visit him in China to cheer him up as we run a few orphanages there but he seems to ignore that.

My trunks are in London and I have to phone the security company (Asset Management). Me being a willing victim I have complied but their phone line is not too good.
I emailed my lad to tell him that there seemed to be a problem with the companies phones as the security company sounded like they were in another country with bad communications like Bulgaria or even Nigeria!

I have now had an email from the security company to say that part of the process is to ring them. Again! Rolling Eyes

( they are both Flextel or similar numbers) I will ring as soon as I can. Can't have my lad die on me and not know what to do with his millions...

The security company have now emailed for passport verification and I am about to comply with a zip bomb.

All this red tape seems to point out to me that my lad has been entertained before. What do you think?

It's possible, especially if they've been 419ing for a long time.

Even if he hasn't been baited before he's not going to agree to your coming to China. He's going to focus on the money.

I'd suggest straight baiting this guy. Keep offering your sympathy and prayers. Ask him questions about his favorite charities and why. You can also ask him just how was it the money got from China to London.

Don't ask all your questions at once though. Spread them out. One per email per day is a good rule.

EDITED TO ADD: Don't do the ZIP bomb. Instead, corrupt a JPEG, and send it to him. He won't be able to open it, and when he complains, you can (mildly) slap him.

seconded to what captain pike said.

straight baiting is a great way to learn what lads will or will not do. by keeping it simple the lad invests far more time and effort and feels invested in the relationship.

if you continue with your baiting career you will learn lads often tell you they are in different places.

just remember, lads lie Laughing

You can rename one of the files within the zip bomb as 'passport.jpg' or whatever, rezip and send that. TBH, it doesn't matter what you send so long as it can't be opened by the lad.
