I've read several cases of victims meeting the lads which resulted in bodily harm or worse for the former.
I was wondering wether there are any recorded cases of lads locating the baiter (either due to a mistake done by the baiter or because of a very smart lad) and then having their revenge?
Just asking out of curiosity. |

Not AFAIK - either nothing reported or officially recorded, or, most likely, that never has happened.

An answer from a more experienced baiter might hold more weight, but in my year and a bit, I've not ever heard of any such thing happening. |

There is a scuttlebutt story that a lad did actually turn up at the place of work of one baiter, but asked for the character's name so the baiter wasn't found out.
But it has never been known to happen otherwise. Unless he who cannot be named has caught up with those members who seem to have disappeared. But that would be their fault for messing with him.

I have been here since 2004 and I have never heard of it happening. If you follow the rules and the FAQ and the TOS, it should be next to if not flat out impossible for a scammer to ever even find you. |

To echo Inspector Gadget, theres some 'urban myths' about the workplace do-dar but all of this is easily avoided.
Two words - bait safe. There a mass of info knocking around here on so educate yourself as best possible and ask questions as and when.
