Isn't one problem with this type of bait that the scammer may have access to your real address from the auction site? Surely you need to be extra careful in this case. |

Dude.
This is SHIVER we are talking about.
Give yourself a mugu-slap for even doubting him!
Incidentally, were it not for the various and tiresome laws against it (JOKING!) I would recommmend sending him a phone with the majority of the internals replaced by a significant quantity of C-4 and a detonator wired to ALL the buttons...
Would make a dandy bit of "killer phone" propoganda....
(REPEAT - JOKING!) |

I guess it truely *was* a matter of time. A natural extension. Most peeps just bid and then flake out making me sell to 2nd highest or relist which is a pain in the arse.
And there are plenty of scumbags who sell broken crap on there...caveat emptor...but *beware of buyer*? that, I bet, will be a new one to eBay too.
Shiver, you are once again on the cutting edge. |

Well I mailed my pet back to apologise that the auction was a UK only one, but I would be happy to supply him directly with any phones he would like, so long as he's still prepared to pay for UPS shipping himself. I told him I has 10 spare phones if he's interested
Update here as and when.... |

Wow, I didn't think scammers used eBay, since they have the Feedback system, so all scammers would get bad feedback and need to get new accounts like every day.. |

They're used to getting new email accounts every day; eBay is just as easy |

He will use Shiver's information to set up a UPS account and Shiver would be responsible for the shipping! What is a Western Union MoneyGram?? I have heard them say they will pay this way before and just have not looked into it. |
