First of all for now I`m a student of our local university on the Foreign Languages Department, so as you can see it`s not a problem for me to communicate with you in English. I want to become a good specialist, cause languages are my passion. The other reason why i learn them is that in the future i want to be a member of such organization as Peace Corp. People always said that I`m an artistic person and it`s really true. During my not very long life i have always been taking parts in varies programs for teens and then for adults. I like to communicate with people so in my university i am trying to do as much social work as can. I`m also fond of literature and art, I`m really good in these topics. In literature my tastes differ, it mostly depends on what kind of book it is, but in art I`m really fond of Renaissance and the painter i like very much is Leonardo da Vinci.

Some people consider Japanese to be weird, but in spite of this fact i am really interested in their culture and would really like to get to know more of it.

Another dream of mine is travelling all over the world. Not just visiting some countries in the search of some cultural experience, but particularly traveling through all the countries possible! From the time i saw the map of the world i understood that the way i want to spend my life is to travel around the world, to know more people who live there, about their traditions, the way they live, think. That's why it's understandable why i'm studying on the Foreign Languages Department, cause this is the way i make my dreams to come true. Now i want to ask you about your dreams. what are they about?

But I want to ask , are you interested in me to create a family or you are looking for a model??? Of course it would be interesting to work with you like a model, but i am here looking for my true man, and not for a jod or money!!

But i don't want to speak about weekdays, instead of it I want to tell you a few words about my best friend, cause she had a birthday not long time ago. I know that i didn't mention it but i live in the dormitory, cause it's rather cheap and located on the territory of student town, near the university, so i can get to my Alma Mater any time i need. So my friend's birthday was prepared by me and also by the other two girls who we're living together in one room with, and by my friend's boyfriend. It wasn't a huge celebration, we couldn't afford it, because we are just usual students and don't have a lot of means. In spite of all the troubles we decided to make it as beautiful as we could. So, the start was given and the first balloon was blown. At first we decided that we wouldn't make it in our room in the dormitory cause it's rather small and couldn't contain all the people who would come there, so the biggest loan of our small budget was spent on the one-roomed apartment. Surprisingly it was rather sweet and cosy and after some decorations we brought it became amazingly beautiful. The dishes were simple but tasted really good. My friend didn't get anything till we screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". She was shocked greatly, but the way her face looked showed us that she was unbelievably happy. My present was not very big but lovely, I gave her a book she dreamed about, maybe you've heard about it - "Twilight" by Stephanie Mayer. This book is easy for reading but rather interesting. In general the birthday party was great and everyone who came there liked it.

Honey, it would be really interesting for me to get to how you spent your birthday, with whom and where? I hope you'll write me about it in your next letter, and i'll also tell you something interesting next time))))))))) I promise!!!!!!!!

I went to a state department that do all the documents and they said that making a passport and a visa would take for about three month((( It was the most horrible thing i got to know in my life((( I can't wait for such a long period of time, hoping that everything will be ok and some day i would see you!! I told them that you want me to come to you and they said you should write to their email, to get to know more about the documents and then we will decide and what we should do next!!))Here is their mail is [email protected]

I have an even better solution to your problem. I can get you the Visa for free her in India, and that means you will not need a passport. You will of course need an ID, but that shouldn't be a problem. I can come and meet you in 5 days (7th April, 2009) and I will bring your Visa and Permission of Travel.

There is a slight problem though. I checked with the airport in Ivano-Franskvisk and they tell me that I can not land a foreign private plane on their airport. It has to do with international restrictions, permission papers, etc. Sometimes I don't even understand it myself. However, I found out that the only place close to you that I could land is in L'viv. I looked on the map and it shouldn't be too far to go for you.

I would much rather go with this solution than the rater dodgy traveling bird Wink

As a matter of fact, I just heard from the hospital today that his
condition is getting worse. I have not been allowed to talk to him

the Jungle in Southeast India this weekend. This is an area known for

After this I never hear from her again.... I could follow up with another character, but I just can't take another 3 months of endless scripts and telling about myself... It was fun while it lasted and I truly believe I made a real difference with this one. She spent almost all her time on me and another baiter and I highly doubt she could scam someone else in the mean time.

Please tell me what I could have done better and so forth. I really would like advice on how to improve my baits in he future.

But Vlads aren't that bad really, but getting them off-script is challenging. One good thing is that they are a little smarter than your average lad, and keeping them busy is easier because they spend so much time talking and you can use that to get them to elaborate.

Another fun thing especially in this one is that she had everything figured out... she thought. With the traveling agency "the traveling bird" it would be easy to get a victim to send money and look legit. When I got her away from that, she had to think of more excuses like why she couldn't travel by train, etc.

I'm guessing from context that it's a romance scammer, but what's the V for? Valentine? Because whenever I see someone here talk about "Vlads", I think of vampires, and not the cuddly sparkly brooding ones in Twilight or the sex crazed ones in True Blood.

A Vlad is a lad from the Former Soviet Union areas such as Russia and the Ukraine. I don't think the V stands for anything, but Vlad is a short version of "Vladimir" which is a very common name for men in that part of the world. Just a difference in terminology to separate them from the African scammers.

One problem I saw was that you mixed up MoneyGram and WU. You originally sent her a MG reciept then sent her a copy of the WU email they sent to you. That may have tipped him off that you were not legit.

You also said that you sent her $1300 when the receipt said $1000.

Nice going Arctic Baiter, Three months is good going, considering , you had the bother of a Western Onion game to contend with. As you know once they get the money thing into the equation, it doesn't take long before your dumped.

I notice she didn't introduce you to her mum, that can take up considerable time, If you introduce another charature to correspond with mother. it's a lot lik talking to yourself in reverse. She thinks your two people and your meant to think she's two people.

I don't think the money thing makes a lot of difference. There only interested in getting it, regardless of the amount.

What you do now is write to her, as her lovers best friend, and tell her your friend, her lover has committed suicide in the garden shed, as she dumped him. tell her he did it with a chainsaw, She should get all remorseful. and you can woo her all over again.. Confused

And it's a good bet she will use the same script..

Arctic Baiter, that was brilliant! You dragged out the Sending-Money part for so long for a Vlad.

I've recently had a break from Vlads (I developed an allergy to endless scripts and needed to recover), but have just set up a brand new specially-for-Vlads character ... and your bait has reminded me why I bother: it is possible to get them off script, waste their time, and even have a bit of fun while doing so.

@Branwen: The scripts are really tiring and that does turn me off Vlads, but I found out that the best way to force them to alter the script at least in some way is to insert little offers or obstacles. If they ignore it the first time, don't let them carry on with the script before they come back with a good reply. Also, she might want you to come over, or want to purchase tickets to come to "your" country, but always recommend a different approach. Like when she wanted to use the Traveling Agency, I said I would rather come and pick her up. That would have had to make her change the script substantially. If that wasn't enough, I said I would use a private jet, further separating her from what she knows and has planned.
