Okay, I know I dawdled a lot longer than I should have but I only finally installed Firefox yesterday. Better late than never.  But now I have a question to which I can't find an answer. When I was using IE, after reading a thread and clicking the back button the main page updated itself automatically and the thread was no longer highlighted. With FF everything remains exactly as it was when I click the back button, I have to click reload to bring it up to date. This is confusing me as I keep reclicking posts thinking that someone must have added another comment. And new topics don't appear when I return to the main page.
Is there a setting to make FF update/reload automatically whenever I go back? |

I had that problem and now instead of hitting the "back" button I just click on the forum name at the top or bottom of the page to go back to that particular forum. When I do this it updates what I've read and such.
Maybe there's a more elegant solution? |

I had a difficult time adjusting to FF too. I tried to adjust FF to be more like IE was never successful. This twas years ago though 
I'm not trying to be a wisenheimer Juan but just go with it. Fighting it only make the transition harder 
Wait until you have to get use to the no script add on
Soon though all you'll know is FF and IE will be like eating sand....or using leaded gasoline. |

Part of Firefox's functionality is that it saves web pages to a cache which then it uses to load faster when revisiting them via back or browser restore.
FF is an awesome browser especially when you install Adblock and all the tools many baiters use with it. |
