Sending a pic to a lad

Obviously I'm not going to send a picture of myself to a lad, but what about sending a picture of a random person that fits the description of my character? Would this violate the ITP rule?

I don't think so, I think most people here use a set of photo's taken from other people...you definitely don't want to send a real picture of yourself...

I went for an actress first, angelina jolie, since I could find natural pictures of her as well as "glamour shots", and I figured that american men would know who she was and keep away... but since then I've learned that you can use pictures of anyone (make sure you have more than 1 of the person) even ugly old & fat and you'll still get a "I love your picture" comments...

Since I was using angelina jolie's picture, enough men recognized me & sent in "scammer" reports...so my account got closed & I had to make a new one...will have to switch pictures soon...

I've used bit part soap opera stars. Many of them have their own promotional web sites with portfolios posted. But frankly, I don't feel right using someone elses picture.

There's also B and C list movie actors and I know some of the guys here have suggested porn stars in the past, but I won't go there to get those pics. Confused

I much prefer not using a picture, it means another thing I need to prove myself about but hey, that makes the bait last a bit longer so I dont care.

It also lets you know straight away that you have yourself a lad because most scam scripts will have a bit saying how much they liked your picture Laughing

I sometimes feel bad that my Avatar is a picture of somebody else, I wouldn't have a clue who it is but figure he would be more upset at the person who put the "anyone but Murray" tag on him, the pirate patch and hat cover half his face so he should only be half upset at me.

@ OBL, are you trying to tell me there are pictures of semi naked people on the net? Shocked

At the end of the day it comes down to what you are comfortable with, for those people who post their pictures on the net, there are lots of worse things that can be done to them than having a baiter use them as their own photos in a bait, if you are going to do it I would recommend the B, C or Z grade actor

Yeah I googled amateur actors and actresses some times you can get a portfolio of photos I generally get 6 or seven and rename them to fit my persona....

I'm not comfortable with using ITP's photos. But there are enough real photos of female scammers - I had an idea to use the Houston mule Smile

If somebody deserves to be the face of a fake profile, they do.

Now if there are also some real photos of white male scammers, then the problem's solved, I think.

I just googled "female portfolio" and came up with a ton of modeling agency sites, most of them had several pics of the women...there are a lot of women on the pretty side, but not too movie starlette type...I just picked up a set of 6, 3 of which I plan to use...

and they passed the tineye check Smile

I send-um pictures only as a reward.. There like little dogs, if they don't perform or beg, no picture.

I get my pictures the same place as they get there's, Romance.com is OK If I'm a bloke , baiting a Russian woman, then I look in the white african section. If I'm a woman baiting a russian bloke, I look in the white african female section.

Using well know faces is plain stupid, everyone reads magazines, and there's no point making it harder for yourself.

Well I love using my celebs.

And if they question me, I just freak out and tell them how stupid they are and im so tired of hearing that crap all the time about how I look like so and so.

I'll try that approach to see if it changes anything… rather than send them 5-10 MB photos as punishment, which is what I do now. Usually after 2 or 3 like that they stop asking. Laughing
