Long time no see, missed you all i was ill with horrible ear infection.

Anyhow in my daily shouting at her to check me email came across this:

Now ive been around too long to see when something sounds too good to be true it might well be - but the guys insisting that its because it needs to be kept secret that it sounds like a pyramid scheme and that the £150 is just to eliminate "time wasters"

We have all heard of this before right? YUP so what do you guys think?

Secret money things (pay 150 pounds and get 666% return on it per week for only a couple hours of work but I can't give away any details!) are always suspicious. And the odds that this guy has figured out such a unique opportunity, and has to solicit donations before talking to anyone (because, of course, no serious big investor would recognize the inherent worth of this unique, revolutionizing idea) is doubly suspicious.

Yea im fairly certain its a scam but the guys so adamant, i was in bed on tramadol when my other half found it lol, i was like gimme the keyboard and shes like nooooo

I think he needs a few baiters to let him know perhaps?

I cant see it being genuine -
the up front fee to eliminate time wasters - alarm bell 1
the cant tell you its soooo good - alarm bell 2
dont have to part with cash until they know - alarm bell 3
legal team said it was ok - alarm bell 4
if they say what it is it cant be done - alarms and an air raid siren
He uses the phrase "risk free" nuclear alarm lmao -

I think we should join and voice our concerns.

The whole purpose of starting this thread was for research purposes only to see if there were enough open minded entrepreneurs out there willing to express an interest in a new business idea.

I have repeatedly explained that no one is to pay any money until I have told them exactly what they are getting into.

I am initially looking for 100 people in the UK. I do not want a thousand timewasters who will not make this work. The contract would give us the right to return the £150 and cancel the contract if anyone within the 100 were not making it work and making money. So no risk involved.

The 100, as I have repeatedly explained would then look for other people who are interested in making money. The people they recruited would not have to invest a penny. They would be provided with a business opportunity for zero investment. Therefore no risk and no danger of ever losing a penny.

there is no downline, no upline, no pyramid of any nature. Only managers and reps who don'y have anything to sell.

Having explained a brief outline to Debs who has had dealings with me before; she instantly grapsed the concept and saw the huge potential. Please do not embarrass her by trying to extract info from her that was given in confidence.

Now call me stupid but havent we all seen those tactics 100's of times before? wonder if this is a lad with a new angle?

I don't think it is the normal scam we are accustomed to (advanced fee fraud). This smells more like the MLM, Pyramid and Amway variety.

To be fair Frank, the potential "benefactor" is actually some guy calling himself Paul Herbert posting on the Peter Jones' blog "Community Page". The profile you found is of Peter Jones.

As Peter Jones is a UK millionaire and wannbe TV celebrity with legitimate businesses; I don't think he'd want to be associated with a pyramid.

Unfortunately, the "Contact me" link on his blog appears to be broken - I tried both FF and IE7

If the scheme is that great that it generates cash from thin air with no up or downlines, can you imagine the bank not lending him the �15k, so he can go crazy making millions?

he didnt want it - so the question now is, just sitting on hands waiting for him to provide more information.

btw he mentioned 6p formula, google has little or no reference to that other than probability gambling, anyone know what that actually is?
