What is your second best earthly pleasure?

My second best earthly pleasure is tabletop miniatures wargaming. I get together with other grown men and some boys and we play with toy soldiers. We recreate historical battles with finely crafted models and terrain. We go to conventions that host thousands of participants and dozens of wargaming events.

A few years ago at an east coast (USA) convention I was sharing command of a Confederate artillery battery in an American Civil War battle. We were positioned to fire down the axis of a bridge that the Union troops had to cross in column formation, all packed together. We ploughed their ranks with solid shot and decimated one regiment after another, holding a much larger Union force at bay. The exhilaration was shared by everyone on the Southern side of the table.

After about an hour of this, I turned to my partner next to me and said: "You know, there's only one earthly pleasure I know of that's more fun than this, but that doesn't last as long." We had a great laugh, and I really did mean it.

Sometimes there are moments in scambaiting that, for me, are almost second best.

What is your second best earthly pleasure?

Anything that allows me to open it up and mess with the machinery on the inside of it.

thats a tuff one. playing with my grand kids, dragracing, working in the yard, BBQing, watching movies with my wife, DJing, enjoying another day on earth to to love my family, be a service to my community, and to my church.

I like tending to my water garden. I have several koi, and some frogs. They are very relaxing to watch.

I also like to go scuba diving with my wife.

Playing with my kids.

My wife and I have dove in Hawaii, The Caymens, Cozumel, Cancun, Puerto Vallerta.

Although we have never dove a shipwreck, we have seen some really neat things,

A grouper bigger than me, estimated at 300lbs, octopus, Eels, a nurse shark, a Giant Baraccuda, puffer fish, Lobster, and dolphins.

Would like to see a big shark, but would be afraid of crapping my suit Embarassed
