Did he give you the old account or the new one? If he gave you the new one, tell him the transfer failed. If he sends SSA's account, it should go through by Tuesday, as it is Columbus Day in the states. If he sends a brand new account, send to 4l4n..... I think that is what you were asking for....Let me know if that helps....

He sent me a one line email that he will write me when he gets there and that he is flying on Monday. Is this a non-typical lad though? He can fly to the safari's set up for him, has internet connection at home.....I mean normally they are at internet cafes and they have to bus it to their destinations so this lad does not seem like the typical lad....

I told him the Lad that payment won't be made until Wednesday, when the cheque should be cleared.

I think that Cammy will be mistaken (she's not that good at finance), that the cheque takes five working days to clear, not three, and the payment has to wait until Friday. By then the Lad will probably have a lot more on his mind.

@SSA - He said this to me today " I am waiting for charles to give m a phone number so when i get to maduguri air port i will call him because i know i wont find a internet cafe there because that state in underdevelop.As soon as i get the phone number which i will call him on when i get to madugri Air port.I will leave lagos state immediately.Here are the maga's that need check and read to revieved them."

I'm going to give him the phone number of a hotel he will call upon arrival. They will tell him there is no one by that name. Once he accesses email, I will let him know I had to go meet a maga in N'Djamena and he needs to meet me to do face to face as my assistant and that there is even more money now.

Maybe he can get a ride from 'The Hand"?

He says you were still waiting for a check.... I gues it would be check number 3. But he told me you were still waiting...wonder if he is trying to dick over his oga? It sure seems that way. He did tell me about the $25,000 check though seems as though he is only trying to screw SSA over.

@ SSA - That's a good idea, but is he going to call before his trip or once he gets there. If he calls prior to the trip he won't go, but at the same time he did supposedly buy a plane ticket. I doubt he is flying but we'll see come tomorrow. What do you want me to respond to that email he sent?

I told him I wouldn't be there until the afternoon of his arrival. That way he can't call before the trip and find out there is no one there by that name. I also told him I was going to be in a meeting but he would be picked up by the hotel taxi.

I did see that there were a couple of internet cafes there, so I'm sure he'll that out too but you may want to mention it in passing. I need to research that area a bit more. Here's a map taken from an interesting website I found, I think it's a baiter page.

Lad just informed me he should be leaving in the morning, which should be in about a couple hours his time. Flight is from Lagos to Kawo or Kaduna, then he takes a bus or some other form of transport to Maiduguri. Once he gets there, I'll tell him I had to stay in N'djamena a bit longer. I've already let him know I was in Chad at the moment meeting with a maga so it's already a thought in that tiny little pea brain of his.

Google Earth is fun to look at when you're trying to see where your favorite lad is going. I've already decided Maiduguri is too nice for him to stay at for long. Wink
