Anyway, it struck me as kind of funny, as I have a water feature. I use it to keep my daily stress level down. What do the rest of you all do to lower your blood pressure?

But if you're talking about dealing with stress, then I sing. I'm in the church choir and a community chorus. Two nights a week of rehearsal, and I'm golden. Smile

What off time?

When I have some, I've got plenty of things I enjoy. Coin collecting, target shooting, hiking, cooking (I like to experiment with various recipes), and currency tracking with the Where's George website.

I also like watching the History Channel.

You start to feel old on 419eater when the same thread has come round at least 3 times. Laughing

I play guitar. I used to play in a crap band, but I'm so out of practice I'm just trying to get back into it again. My main acoustic is a Simon and Patric SP6 Canadian spruce:

I'm also a football (UK type!) referee, and sometime goalkeeper (though I'm getting a little old for all that diving around now, though I have to occasionally thanks to work's insistence on me keeping fit).
I'm a keen cricket fan, and player, playing as a batsman for my works team. I also go to see the England Cricket team at Lord's or The Oval whenever I can.

I like hiking/hillwalking and camping. I try to fit whisky tours into that when I can. Smile

Scotland is great for that.

I also like world travel and get around quite often. My next but one trip is an off-the-beaten-path tour of Oman / UAE in a 4x4 to see Geological dig sites.

Edit: Like Captain Pike I collect world currency notes and coins (If I remember rightly, I've exchanged a few with the Captain!).
I also love to cook, but being married to someone that doesn't cook, that's more of a full time job than a hobby. Laughing

Not that I'm unhappy to do it, I do enjoy it.

I'm afraid you have me mixed up with someone else. I've traded over the net before for currency (and I also collect "defaced" currency, where people have doctored up portraits and/or stamped messages on them), but I haven't traded with anyone on the Eater.

Retired, nothing but off time, so I'm available for errands, like getting parts in town, drives from field to farm to equipment, helping hand when needed, farmhand when people get sick and mechanic in the field when things break down. I never know what the next phone call will bring, but all neighbors do know how to find me. In between, I bait a bit Smile

, hunt gophers during the season, got out to shoot badgers/skunks/coyotes/dogs when neighbors report them to me. They spread rabies around here (the first two), attack cattle and and steal fresh born calves. I only shoot a dog when they definitely don't have had an owner in a long time and when I can't approach/catch/lure them to bring them to the dog pound at 60 miles distance. Seems hard, but around here they will hit them with a truck if they can and leave them to die in the ditch, I'm already happy they phone me first. Some days I'm 18 hours online, some days 30 seconds, my lads adjust, I hope my proteges will too Wink

Holidays? I haven't had one in 8 years and work when needed 24/7 and 365 a year, it pays for my food, smokes, internet and beer and then some and I haven't been at a gas station since I moved here, life is sweet Laughing

I read a lot, and I'm a bit of a speed reader. At the moment I'm recuperating following an operation and I was asked what books I'd read recently. I had to answer, "The local library."

I ride my motorbikes. I recently hit a personal speed record of 265km/hr on a suped-up YZF R1 (not mine) Very Happy

It was a zen moment. Scary and relaxing all at once. I was vibrating so hard, and the white separated line in the middle of the road became a blur - Then all of sudden everything went quiet. It was very peaceful.

I enjoy martial arts, mainly Krav Maga and Muay Thai currently. I enjoy doing cross-fit and golfing when I can. I also coach Special Olympics (golf and bowling, although I haven't bowled since I was 14).

Those, and a good night drinking Jager shots with good friends ant telling stories. Wink
