Sometimes I wonder how these lad's learn to breathe, they're that stupid.

This one received an ASEM, it said nothing about my character being an oga, simply that I had paid some money to someone named "Luk3".

Well here was the response:

I think he sends it in response to any laddish emails he gets, but whether his intent is to join up with other lads to get work, or in fact chop their dolla, I don't know.

If the lad is Delhi based this is not true. There are plenty of WU outlets so it may be that they are not as accommodating as African outlets to the lads.

Never been to India so don't know setup but remembering seeing all the Indian construction workers in Dubai queueing at WU to send money home made me check the website to confirm that they do operate there.

There is a problem in India in Lads using Western Union and I think it all relates to Indian love of mind numbing bureaucracy that they learned from us Brits way back.

Thier financial institutions will want to see ID and PAN numbers that are required by their tax authorities, and the employees would rather have their eyes poked out with red hot needles than transgress any detail of government or company procedure.

Usually they will try to find an innocent account holder or even an accomplice who will launder the money for them. These accounts are very reportable, and losing them will make the Lads cry in frustration, as without them, they are useless trash without the means to scam anyone.

the Hawalah system operates in india and other areas, and offers a similar service to Western Union. Is there any evidence of it being used for scamming purposes? iirc, Hawaladahs have something of a reputation to protect so they may or may not be aware of the fiddle, but there's the potential for embarrassing a lad there.
