At quite an early stage one of my lads sent me a bank account to transfer funds to (UK based). It certainly makes a change from Western Union.

Somewhere on the board is a reference to someone who actions or reports these accounts. Anybody know who/where to send the account details to? Can't find anything "sticky" about this.

I'm working on one right now. j3ff 0k0h b4yo who is always offering his services to any guyman who pops out of the woodwork, recently offered me the use of a bank account for 419ing purposes. now, surprise, my bait geezer is trapped in england and wants him to safeguard several grand while he flees in a shipping container. guess the rest.

Closing bank accounts has become one of my goals for every bait I am doing. You can usually get one out of a lad if you are persistent. I often bait NOK / Widow with trunkbox scams as a businessman and just come out with a line that "My countries' company law doesn't let me send money via western onion, I need a bank account." If they claim not to have one I tell them to get the one their barrister will have and that all lawyers and barristers have bank accounts for handling client cash. Always seems to work.

You can then have fun delaying the transfer, getting a couple of numbers wrong in the account, money delayed due to security checks and they must go and see their bank manager...

The best feeling in the world is when they come back and say "Ah, please now use this account" as you know Alan has worked his magic and had the account shut down. Cool

Also, feel free to use this fake newspaper article I wrote a while ago for the Mass Lottery Bait. You can use it to convince lads that Western Union and Moneygram are so unreliable, due to insider fraud, that you will only pay by bank transfer.

Getting bank accounts to report is fairly easy. Just send some ASEMs asking for an account to transfer some money into. About 5-10% will respond.

Find a place where no WU or MG offices exist. I use to say I'm from french departments in the western indies. They can check on WU and MG websites, there are none Very Happy
