all the broken bones have been put back together again. he is now resting in the land of morpine, but he is recovering. thank god, thank you all for the good thoughts, prayers, and honorable mentions. i just spoke with his mom, and she said the ventelator is only running 6 breths per minuet, it was running 14, so he is pulling more of his own weight than the ventelator. i hope they take him off that thing monday. today is a good day. |

I am a little late too, but nevertheless, I wish your nephew a speedy recovery and all the best. I think he is very blessed to have a caring uncle like you are! Once he is fully back in control you need to print out this thread and give it to him, so that he can read it. I am sure this will cheer him up

well he smacked a nurse monday wanting the ventelator tube out. Ask and ye shall recive, The doctor said if he wants it out, take it out. He is breathing on his own, and talking in that morphine induced (look at the collors )kinda way. but this is a MOJOR thing that i thought all would be happy to hear.
just a few short weeks ago he was left for dead on the side of the road, and he is winning the fight. thankyou all for the prayers, well wishes, happy thoughts, and honarable mentions. we are overjoyed at this step in his recovey. as soon as i get home, i will print out this thread, and take for him to read. you guys are fantastic.  |

just got text msg from his mom, they did a swallow test today, and he passed. so now they are letting him eat and drink. he isnt yet moved out of icu, but this is BIG step in rite direction.
late comers are always welcom, as i will be printing this out for him to read as soon as i get back to ga. am stuck in coneticut rite now waiting on a load. the nort east is bad place to get stuck, as freight rates are low, and truck count is high.
hope they will let him have his laptop when he gets a private room. |

i spoke with assy on the phone today he was awake when i called for update, and watching tv. his mom is trying to get him to eat somthing. i told him about this thread, and he was happy. he is growing stronger evry day. his girl friend had stoped by. i didn't want to make him talk too long, but i thank my god in heaven, and all of you for the prayers, and good thoughts, well wishes, and honorable mentions.
this has been a verry rough month. constantly worying about him, I drive a truck and am not home to swing by the hospital evry day, so all of my updates are coming via text msg, and phone calls. i hope for a load going twards home evry day, so i can stop by and see him.
I am truley thankfull today, now that i have heard him speak. ill sighn off now, but will update till he can do it him self. |
