I finally got the loan scammer to tell me the maximum that his company lends. I mean, you know. I wouldn't want to waste time applying for a loan from a company that can't loan me enough to start my new business, right?

Amazingly enough, I think that this lad is offering me JUST enough to get started:

Tell him that you are very disappointed that you won't be able to do business with him since you need $2 billion.

Then make sure you ask about

-Interest, compounded daily or weekly?
- Is there negative amortization?
- Can you put up your Grandmother as collateral?
- What are the penalties for pre-payment? What about post-payment?
- Does the inverse square law apply to this loan?
- Can you get the money in Estonian Krooni?

I don't know which is tougher to believe:

A) that my lad believes I'll believe he has a BILLION to loan me, or
B) that my lad really did offer to loan me NOTHING.

If you do borrow $0.00 dollars, that is sweet, because even with high interest rates you will have the loan paid off in no time. I suppose you may have to pay some nominal loan origination fees, and also stamp duty, diplomatic tag paper, anti-terrorist fee, and who knows what else.

Really, I think everyone here is curious how much it will cost to borrow $0.00 dollars. Are you using this for home improvements or just to pay off another loan?

Just because it's one of my favorite facts, and because it fits in here nicely, and just because because ...

We often band around the terms 'million' and 'billion' loosely, but the human brain can't comprehend big numbers easily. A Billion is a HUGE number, here's a great example.

A million seconds is about 11 days.
A billion seconds is OVER 31 YEARS.

I wonder where he got his billion to loan with? That must have been a whole heap of $300 advance fees... Wink
