I seem to be running behind a few emails now, my latest was this one

She only went and won the freaking lottery

When I have left the airport I contacted to the operator in USA.
I have explained to her my problem and she said that it is necessary to

The operator has connected me to the director and we had long
conversation with him.
He said that he can transfer funds on my account in bank. It will
take about one week.
But I have no any bank account, and this registration will take a lot
of time (about 5 weeks).
I asked him to send funds through Western Union or Money-Gram.
He has said that he does not trust this system and will not send funds
through these companies.
He has said that I can receive my prize in six weeks in Moscow.
But it's so long and if I shall not fly in time my documents will be
rejected

I said that I am going to other country to meet my friend.
He asked what country and I answered him.
He has said that he can transfer funds on your account
in bank if you have it.
Transfering to your account will take less time.
But he said that may be he can not transfer in some banks of other
countries.
Tell me if you have bank account and name of your bank.
Or may be you have funds to help me, and when I shall be in your country
I shall return to you it.
I very much upset that we have such trouble with our meeting.
When I have finished conversation with the director I at once tried to
call to you. But you have not taken the telephone and I have left the voice message.
Please write me time and telephone and when it will be better to call to

I can be online tomorrow about 2:00PM my time or morning your time.

During today's session, I commented that I'd have a hangover New Year's Day and would need to pop a few asprin. Then I get this reply.

Ahh. Well, it seems Boris reads this site and read this thread. He showed me my last comment, then went on a 30 minute rant at me. The things he said about my mother.......... she had a good laugh at when I told her. He told me to get a translator, so I got myself one of the best and had all his stuff converted to English. Such a foul mouth. But no worries. I'm already back with him, and I'll be saying hello from different accounts from time to time as well, just to keep him busy.

He knows I wasted his time, and he knows that he's already talking to me again on at least 1 more account. He also knows I'm going to keep tracking him down and wasting more of his time, even if he changes email address and photos. I think that's pretty good. I also rattled him enough for him to spend 30 minutes cursing me out on YIM. How often do you see a vlad do that? On top of that, his details are posted online for others to read. All in all I think it went pretty well Laughing

I'm sure he's gonna be more suspicious about new victims from now on. I can just hope my cover won't blow. Just to be sure I'm gonna keep my profile really low now. I won't post anything that could blow it until I can afford it.

I too have been emailing "Natalia", though I notice the correspondence has abruptly stopped. I imagine this scam artist has dropped this ID and moved on.
I was hoping it would carry on for a while longer so i could get enough material for a yarn for the paper I work for.
I wonder though who could ever be stupid enough to fall for this type of fraud? An unsolicited email supposedly from a very cute Russian girl who doesn't care how old any man is who replies, and whose emails bear no relation to anything that has been said in the email sent by the victim. This Vlad is either very stupid or he must send out many thousands of these emails in the hope of getting one idiot.

She's still active. I'm working on her for some time now, too, and I received my trophy not long ago.
But since Wayne has received such a shower of insults because his cover was blown I'm not posting it yet. Wanna keep my cover up for at least a while longer, to maybe get some more trophies done.

Maybe you should just send her a reminder how much you love her and that you miss her... and stuff like that.

They do send out thousands of emails searching for a persons weakness. It's the same weakness that leads thousands to believe that dating agencies will lead them to the women of their dreams for only a few thousand dollars. Loneliness.

The emails are crafted so that they don't generally sound scripted, especially when happiness about what could potentially be clouds your judgement a little.
