While I admire your enthusiasm and wish you the best of luck in your quest for thophy pics and a safari it normally isn't as easy as some make it seem.

Based on the email you were sent this Lad (and I am about 75% sure it is a lad) is a little smarter than the average lad, the English and grammer are quite good which makes me think it is no noob to scamming.

The offer of sending more photos is not uncommon, they will be stolen anyway so it is not hard to send them and they may well have a good set of photos to send you.

By all means go in for the kill straight up and see how you go but be prepared for disappointment.

Have a second charactor bait the same lad straight at the same time and see which is most successfull.

If you can post the headers up for us we can confirm the location, something just doesn't seem right for a lad and there is a slight chance it is a Vlad you are dealing with, only slight chance.

If I were a betting man my money would be on lad but I wouldn't put my ba.. (sorry) house on it

The name and the punctuation (especially the overuse of exclaimation marks) make me think it's more likely to be a vlad than a lad. Let's see who's right Very Happy

I only talk to lads playing themselves so no experience with the vlads. If I had to pick I'd say it's a lad pretending to be a woman.

The word "Slavic" is what made me think, I have trouble imagining a Lad knowing what that is.

Based on Irwins post I am happy that I had Lad doubts enough not to put my house on it.

Its a Russian ip with is consistent with the Slovac regions.

You'll get stock standard pics, asked for help with visa applications ($$$$$), sent more stock pics, about the 4th or 5th email you may be lucky and get a real reply, but it will be buried in the asking for ($$$$$$)

Then you'll be dropped like a hot brick

Sounds like you will pick it up pretty quicky, dont be put off, plenty of us have put in lots of time emailing the romance scammers, we should have some idea.

Besides, your the first I have seen in a while that didn't need help to find the header

There is no hard and fast rule as to how they operate but what Irish has suggested is reasonably common for a Vlad

The picture titled Lulu and the lack of isolation may be what a real vic needs to tip them off that it is a scam, if the scammer has people telling them about these faults they will simply fix them for the next victim making them a little more likely to scam somebody else

I doubt there is any damage done as yet because your email probably was not read but do be mindfull about what you may be teaching them.

She says she wants to travel in the next few days so it should be a reasonably quick bait for a vlad, the money request should be there in a few days to a week, some unexpected expense with the visa no doubt and of course she cant offord it on her income.

This one will actually start to read your emails a little sooner and it will make little difference where you want to take her as she does not intend to go there

It is allways nice to see who we are dealling with, often we will (at least I will) remember the photo but not the script, scripts are all so much alike and I hardly read it anyway, photos of russian girls I do take a bit more notice of Wink

How do I post a picture?

Posting Pictures

First up, go to photobucket.com and create an account. You don't have to use your real name when you make it so don't worry. Once you do that, then log into your album. You'll see an option on the top right hand sign, "Submit Multiple Images". Click that if you have more than one picture to post. It'll let you select more than one image in one go. You have to have scripts enabled, so if you use NoScript, tell it to allow photobucket.com. If you don't know what NoScript is, don't worry about it because you won't be affected by it. Once you've made your selections, click on "Submit" and wait while they upload your photos. When the screen refreshes, there's your pictures. under each picture you'll see three boxes, Url, Tag and Img. To make a direct link to your picture, select the text in the Img box. Double left click on it and the text all turns blue. Right click and click on "Copy". That'll save the information in memory. Now go to your post, right click and click on "Paste". You should see something like this appear
