So now this lad asks me to send him money by "another" Union:

It figures. WU has gained so much volume going to Nigeria that they now have Eastern Union ... Pretty soon there will come Northern Union and Southern Union, I guess.

BTW, the original payment requested was $3,500, which then came down to $1,750 and is now down to $75 (when I told him that I was short of cash until a "big" check from another source came in. Of course I have to sign a promisory note to pay the balance when I receive the huge fund that is coming. I guess this lad really trusts me because I must have good credit in Nigeria.

I did a google search for 'Eastern Union', and this came up

This site seems kinda baiter-ish. As I say, it comes up on a search for Eastern Union, but there's no mention of those words on the site, just abbreviating it to E.U. But one of the gif files is called EASTERN-UNION-LOGO
Might be something to use in a bait?

Joaquin, I bet you could find something useful if you google either "Eastern union" or easternunion.

The site looks to be real, Moe. It was registered in Nov 2000, and the admin contact is a web authoring site.

The eastern union bit comes up again in the domain name server records as easternunion.net.

You stand to have a great time with this lad. He should be made to sweat buckets looking for an EU office to collect the money.

@ Joaquin - I wouldn't reiterate the EU that the lad told you. I would just tell the lad that you sent it per the "instructions provided". See how long it takes to find out their mistake. Twisted Evil

Of course this could be a test to see if you are being straight with them and will point out their error... Shocked

Well I think that the creationo on a new wheter Eastern, Northen or Eastern union office would be a great idea.
The nearest location of this office would be 800 km for every mugu.
the greater the amount a baiter has to pay, the further the location would be. Laughing
