I tried Mozilla Thunderbird and did not like it and I changed to yahoo.
I still recieve all this junk on MT. I recieve but I can't send. There is 25 messages on there and the only way to delete is to open. That's the main reason that I did not like it. The last time I opened one it was a virus and it took 1-1/2 hour to get rid of. Can someone tell me how to rid of it all together or how to delete them without opening? Confused

BTW, It's the mail on my toolbar. Maybe I could remove it that away.
I would not know how to do that either. So every time I come to my pc it tells me how many messages that I have and its annoying. With yahoo I just go to my mail because it is on my home page.

Can you not uninstall MT from start>>settings>>>control panel>>>add/remove programs?

Umm...I don't quite get what you mean about having to open a message to delete it. I use Thunderbird, and to delete I just click on a message and press 'delete'. No need to open it.

Since when are MT and Yahoo comparables? Do you mean webmail?

Thank you. I honestly thought my limited English skills were responsible. Glad to hear others had the same problems.

Just to repeat the above question. Are you trying to compare a POP/SMTP mailer with a browser-based webmailer like yahoo?

And what's that supposed to mean?

Quite a turn-around. The members answer a question reasonably and the mods dog-pile on the OP over an unrelated issue. Confused

I'd say just delete the POP config for MT, if you're never interested in what's in there.
