About a year ago I was almost scammed out of $3,000 for a motorcycle that didn't exist. Has anyone thought of a way to bait these scum on ebay?

I'm glad that you weren't scammed.
The best thing to do with Ebay fraudsters is either report them to Ebay or figure out a safe way to bait them via email and not your ebay or paypal account.
