I've got about three scambaits going on, but this one is weird. The person asked for my bank account info and said they would deposit the 10 million into it in a week. Of course I made up a bank name and account number, gave it to them, and now they are emailing me asking if the money was deposited.... what part of the scam is this? They haven't asked for any money or any thing like that yet... they said they'd check with their bank on Monday to see what the problem is. |

Oh! Now that makes sense...thanks for the thread. That's interesting how they do it. I've got another bait going and the dude is a "diplomatic" carrier and supposivly at Heathrow Airport waiting for my phone call so he can make arrangements to fly to my location to drop off the "box"...
Trying to figure out what to have him do, but I really don't want to call him. |
