Anyone have a recommendation for a free windows FTP client that is not loaded with spyware? |

PuTTy and WinSCP are used by myself at work. CuteFTP used to come highly recommended, but I haven't used it lately. |

I use bluezone ftp myself. I love the interface it has.
It -WAS- a free "as is" product but I don't know if it still is. I think the idea was if you wanted "secure" ftp you had to pay for it.
The version I use dates back to 2002. |

I'll chip in and endorse smart FTP as my client of choice.
Never had any problems with the software whatsoever. It contains a reminder to purchase - but it's so friendly I'm almost tempted to pay for a copy.
I think we paid to run it at work after a while. |

They've given up on asking for money on the "personal" version, only wanting to be paid for the commercial one.
And there is no difference between the two that I can see. |
