I just noticed that Mr Google suddenly ramped up the space for your Gmail accounts ...It's been slowly increasing, but a sudden jump just happened

Could use it to store all sorts of stuff.
Send a mail to yourself and attach what you want to store.

It is very good. I rared up all the family photo's and uploaded them to a dormant gmail account as backup.

Makes for a long term low cost backup solution.. The amount of gmail accounts the users of these pages go through mean gigabytes of storage potentially available.

Certainly for as long as Mr Google wants to play ball anyway.

The application named above puts an icon in 'My Computer' which means you can access the account like a virtual drive. (Windows Version not sure about Linux)

^^ On linux, you install the libraries, then you can mount it like a normal drive partition.

However, I do believe that there's a limit of 10MB per file, since that's the limit for email attachments with GMail.
