I've been scammed by a Russian girl. She wanted to visit me and asked to help with her ticket. After that, I learned the lesson and don't send money to anyone. Don't send money to anyone guys. Right now, I correspond with a couple of Russian women but I tend to be suspicious about everyone now.
After that, I wanted to see if there are any books on scammers. I've seen many books out there on Amazon and found something that I wanted to ask you guys here since you're more knowledgeable about such things. Has anyone read the 'Dating Werewolves' book about the Russian scammers? If so, what do you think about this novel and is it worth while to buy it? Is it really packed with information about the Russian scammers as they say it in the book descriotion? Thanks.

Not at £15 for a book with less than 300 pages!!! A Google search for sites relating to romance scammers should find you all the information you need without paying a penny.

Yeah, 28 bucks is a lot. I did more research about this book on the internet and found it for 18 bucks on Lulu. They even have it in downloadable format for $7.50. I might go with that option.

Sorry to hear you were scammed Coconutguy. If you want to learn more about Russian love scammers then go and check out the Love/Dating forum here. There's more information about that type of scam there than you'll find in any book - and it's free! You will also learn how to spot a scammer before 'she' (they are often blokes BTW) gets any money from you so you can use this useful knowledge in future when you correspond with these people. I'm afraid the general rule is that you should assume these people are scammers unless they can prove they are genuine rather than assume they are legit and then find out the hard way they are not. Good luck.

Do you live in Russia?
I tend to be suspicious about everyone now.
