I found their Dublin 'college' this morning, basically consists of nothing but a small office with two chairs and a table with a phone and calculator on the desk.

I was going to go in and ask them about their courses but thought the better of it especially so soon after yesterday Wink

However they were closing up for lunch so I waited for them to leave then had a good look around the office. It looks like they are ready to leave at a moment notice,they could be one of those 'colleges' who help students obtain visas and then cover for them when the students disappear to get a job

Would it be interesting to have this fall in the lap of a hungry tabloid?

If the political gears need grease, that might do it.

EDIT:
Anyone know if aa419 noticed any of their hotlinked lads were getting any good globberage out of the forum links? Might be a good strategy if this needs redoing. Set up a lad vampire type browser to call loaded pages stacked with hotlinks.

Looking at the photos, the London college consists of little more and that assumes the photos taken of the "students" at the desks were actually taken in there.

It (the London college, and presumably the Dubin one too) looks to me like a front for a visa scam.

Someone ought to report them to the immigration authorities, really. And a tabloid would be a good idea too.

So far my enquiry about enrolling using Moneygram hasn't bounced. I've just noticed that the page http://www.conceptscollege.co.uk/registration.html has real bank details at the bottom.

I notice they list a course on Criminal Psychology. I'm sure spending time on here would equip you for teaching that course. It's only 2 hours a week, sounds about right for lazy lads.

I wonder if Mr Ezey teaches that one? I would imagine the average lad would benefit Confused

^^^^ IIRC we can't actually kill this one as it isn't a bank/financial institution/etc. There are very strict laws and regulations regarding bank websites. Since this one is a 'college' there's not a lot we can do except burn their bandwidth.

Hammering their bandwidth is about it... except for the more miltant actions that I have been taking all along with this little nest of rats. The forum is down, I'm sure for life- we probably ran up his bandwidth costs on that by several orders of magnitude in the three days we owned it, and he is no longer answering the two phone numbers I have for him.

Interestingly- the lad that first tumbled us to Concepts College has gone away- he has not responded to any of my emails, and none of his friends are replying either. I hope the gang members believed me when I told them that he was my informer and I was using Special Police Powers to bring down their website... maybe he's dumped in a trash dumpster out behind the visa scam college right now!

I suppose that you could go after it as a diploma mill. The UK tends to be a bit less tolerant of those than the US (where the matter is largely in the hands of individual state attornies general, causing mills to simply hop from state to state as legal climates change).
