The Dude is on his case. I just feel that we should all do what we can to help out our lads in uniform.

Perhaps Sgt Mcgrover could catch up with Cpl Punishment whilst out in the field ?

Pvt Parts may need to assist .

Sgt Carter and Pvt Pyle are most likely to attend the party ?

Ensign Parker could do the Marine support .

Sgt Bilko could supply all the equipment .

Cnl Hogan could supply Air Support .

OK, this guy NEEDS a serious ass kicking. Here's part of his first reply:
Quote:
We are fighting for peace in IRAQ and the Whole World in general. The act of terrorism is becoming embarrassing to the U.S military and it is our duty to dig it from it's source. All we need is your support and constant enouragement.

He'll be getting plenty of "enouragement" from me from here on out. Not sure what that word means, but I suspect it will involve a branding iron on his Private Parts at some point... Twisted Evil

He also wants me to use a code word of his choosing on my emails... we'll just see about that Laughing

Let me guess; the code word is "na-me". Looks like the reply is a standard format as well.

You got it in one, Dude.

I know that what I got was a script reply, but it annoyed me quite a bit anyway. I'll see if I can't change the code phrase to something more "appropriate" soon, for security reasons, of course Wink

Sent my new friend a reply telling him that "na-me" is NOT a secure code word, and that he should use the "secure" code:
PAPA-WHISKEY-NOVEMBER-ECHO-DELTA
from here on out. Laughing

Yeah, this guy is a dummy. 1st Armored Div. is an Army unit, NOT Marines. When it comes to this sort of thing, Army vs. Marines, there is no confusion.

Please don't clue this mugu in on that particular slip, as it may well twig real vics that have served in the US armed forces or that know this type of thing about the US military.

The last thing we want is to build a better mugu by helping him improve his format. Wink

After a week being AWOL, the fair sergeant has resurfaced. It seems that somebody has been causing problems for his email accounts Laughing (uh, I wonder who?). But, he has finally gotten through with a brand new email addy. But, this appears to be a different guy. The email I got today was quite a bit better written than the other correspondance, with 0 grammatical errors. The only thing giving it away is he mentioned his 'mates'. I am faithfully adhering to his secret passcode for now, but I have a feeling that someone is going to hack him again, causing him to change it. [mods-no, I did not, nor do I plan to, actually hack his mail.]

Just heard from our good Sgt. I had slapped him hard for using "na-me" after I specifically told him it wasn't secure code. The reply I received had the subject:
Quote:
"PAPA-WHISKY-NOVEMBER-ECHO-DELTA"
Laughing Laughing
He also added this bit to the beginning for his next script reply:
Code:
Thanks for your e-mail.Iím happy that you are careful and concerned about security aswell.I do not have anything against your choice of the Code word which I have complied with.So long as it is for the better security of our correspondence

Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

This lad/lads is about to get very paranoid. I received two emails this morning that followed the same format, but one read distinctly different than the other. IP's were the same, so I don't know what's up. Probably a noob-gu receiving mentoring and assistance? Anyway, I went ahead and bogused up an email to myself, and forwarded it to the lad/lads, explaining that I believed that someone may be hacking them. Next step, shut down the account Laughing and wait for a message from another new address.

Haha. I didn't realise so many people were baiting this guy. It's great. I have him on the secure code phrase "RUBBER BABY BUGGY BUMPERS" after I told him that "NA-ME" reminded me too much of my time in "nam".

He seems to having all sorts of problems with his email and is very slow to get back to me too. I sure hope he doesn't have to change his email again. Twisted Evil

Sgt. Roberts email detailing how to differentiate between his emails and the 'hackers':
Quote:
You can always differentiate my emails from that of the hackers because their grammatic syntax is not co-ordianted
