I found this on a site about a town in Russia. I'm sure you can use this little snippet of information to annoy your "loved"

If you give or send flowers to anyone who is still alive, make sure they are in odd numbers, as even quantities are for funerals and the deceased. For example, don't EVER give a woman a dozen roses, instead make it 11 (13 isn't such a great number either). Russians are very superstitious about such things, especially when it comes to matters of the heart, and it is very possible that a mistake will be taken as a bad omen, rather than simply a fax pas.

I'm not sure how you think that will annoy the vlads.

That's just a few of them. The Russians are generally very superstitious.
I was always told to check the numbers on my bus tickets. If the sum of the last three numbers equals the sum of the first three then you have to eat the ticket otherwise you will have bad luck.

I'm going to "unintentionally" do as many of those things as possible, then when it all goes bad I'll blame it on bad omens and say we weren't meant to be. Who can argue with the omens?
