after a week of ignoring my laddette, and after slapping her for sending my a scan of her passport with my sign next to it seen here

I got this.

Aside from the fact that it doesn't look like the same person...obviously the passport was fake, does this look like the real ladette, or did it just take her a week to chop this (or get someone else to do it).

The sign, by the way is REAL. I send my lads a PDF file, with white letters in black background. Its MUCH easier to photograph.

If its a chop, its a good one, probably cost her a bit...in money or time. The pose looks a bit strange, but I suppose it COULD be real. I just try to approach everything I get from a scammer with automatic skepticism, and assume its a lie/fake unless proven otherwise.

The pic looks fairly real. I'd lean toward it being legit.

well she lives in a refugee camp...although they do seem to have very nice portrait studios, VERY fast computer repair, and apparently, excellent laundry facilities, and conditions that are clean enough to keep a white dress looking white. From her email's I wouldn't say she was particularly unhappy...although people ARE trying to kill her....this has not yet been explored, and they don't seem to be trying to kill her at the moment, but she assures me that somewhere out there are people that are trying to kill her.

I think it's real, but what does it say in the bottom right corner? Not much good at manipulating images but looks like something stamped into the photo (assuming it's a scan of a photo)

Bottom line OLD MKT.RD.O?ERD or something like that?

It says something like "OLD MKT.RD.OVERD" on the bottom line. I can't make out the top line, except for a couple of letters.

good catch!

if you look at it on an LCD screen at an angle, you can make it out.

I tried using the "burn" tool in photoshop to raise it a bit, but this is the best I can make out.

My guess is its the studio's watermark? Possibly embossed on the paper?

She's not supposed to be in Oweri...

I think I might just let this go for now because I don't want her to think I'm suspicious. She sent me a very nice trophy, one she probably had to pay for. I think she should get rewarded with a few emails of my utter conviction that this is real, and I think she's the most beautiful woman on earth.

I think that if I ask about the mark in the corner, not only would that educate HER, but it would make her think I'm onto her, and make her more skiddish. I need to build her confidence now and make her think she has me completely snowed. Besides, if I ask, she'll just say that its the mark from the studio where she got the pic, which would be true, but I think we're already figured that out, so why go there?. Obviously she went and had that picture taken somewhere, and it was after Feb 18th 2006 Smile

actually SHE dropped me as soon as she sent the picture. She gave me a phone number of her barrister and hasn't replied/emailed me since. My guess is she was an underling whose job was to hook me and turn me over to a more experienced lad.

I don't think that's her...mine would hear NOTHING about any romantic involvement. She dropped me when I started hitting on her.

Her scam was also so unsophisticated that I doubt she has as much experience as the one in that link.
