Rent is $450/Mo., with a $450 deposit. Cashiers
cheque is fine; let me know what arrangements will be
needed for that. Minimum lease is one year. I
posted two pictures of the house with the ad; do you
mean pictures of the inside? I can do that, but not
knowing how fast your connection is, I didn't want to
send too big an email.

As explained briefly in my previous mail,i am a british. After much
delibration,my parents agreed to let me go back to the states.

I am a 24 year old graduate of Economics from the University of
London.Ilive with my parents here in london all my life and in the
states down there my UNCLE whom i stayed with has gone back
to meet has gone back to urope to settle down with his Family
after the threatening implications of the katrina damage. He was
overwhelmed by the devastation and uncertainty left by the hurricane.
My home/parents address here is :

21 Austen Close,
Thamesmead,
London.
SE28 8JX
UNITED KINGDOM.

I spent only 2days in the states with my uncle at New Orleans before the
incident. Now after much thots and debates with my parents we decied
that ican relocate to the states again.I will be taking a part time job on
arrivaland would study alongside with it with all expances taken care by
my parents. My working is to get some petty things for my self and i
would be living alone unless my parents or brother pays a visit.

Secondly,i would like a 12months agreement for now and it will be
extended when we know each other better. As a matter of fact,i will
be paying inadvance with a cashiers cheque or money order drawn
from the USA bank.

Thirdly, you will recieve a cashiers cheque for more than the payment of
move-in total.Immediately you recieve the payment and acknowledge the
reciept,i will email you information and instructions to guide you on
how to send the excess from the payment back to me through western
union money transfer after deducting the agreed deposit for your self.

Furthermore, the excess money covers my flight ticketing and some other
relevant things i need to move from here down there.

Lastly, send me your full name with address so the payment can be
issued and sent to you as explained. Thanks for understanding and
i would need your home/office/cell numbers when you are sending
your full name with address.

Best Regards.

Kay,

That's a fascinating narrative. You seem like quite
an interesting person, one with a bright future.

Although I must say, when I read your first letter to
me I was just a bit suspicious.

Now.

"Kay", darling,

Why don't you just tell me how much extra you plan to
send, and I can expedite the process by sending you
the difference right away? Would a cashiers cheque be ok?
I can tell you're someone I can trust totally.

Let's make sure we have this straight: You send me
email through some 3rd party, ("lynchanna") from
overseas. You have an Anglo name, and you expect me to
believe that you are a freshly educated Brit. You might
brush up on the Queen's English. You know, Pip-pip!
Tally, HO! All that sort of r-r-rROT! For someone of your
distinguished academic credentials, you didn't seem to notice I
posted pictures as well as the amount of the rent. I couldn't
resist playing along, just to see how long you'd take to move in for
the kill. Of course, after my reply, you're no longer interested in more
pics. Suddenly you want detailed personal information. In exchange,
I send you money, right?

The "USA bank"? That's it? Yes, send the cashiers cheque!
I've always wanted to see a good forgery.

Thanks for sharing your "address" in Thamsemead. From what little
chequeing I bothered to do, all roads lead lead to - surprise! - Africa.
Niger, I'm guessing. Oh, and tossing Hurricane Katrina into the
mix - nice touch! Drama never goes out of style. Your email addresses
are bogus needless to say; I don't even have to cheque them out. Lame,
but I'm sure some folks fall for it.

FWIW, I'll send this to [email protected] FWIW, btw, means
"for what it's worth". Maybe you could work that in
to your next routine. It'll make you seem hip, give
you "street cred", something we have here in the U.S. You might have
even heard of it. Ditch the educated Brit pose, though. It doesn't fly
with your crappy English. Stick with "my UNCLE, a deposed
Dictator, was finally sssassinated and left to Me his diamond mining
Fortune", something along those lines. Don't forget Katrina.

Nonetheless, I still want to assist you with this
process. All the information you requested can be
found at my website, where it's my habit to post
detailed personal data for the benefit of total
strangers worldwide:

Respectfully,
Al
