This just became a proper safari. The mugu has to come from Cork - 3 hour train journey, God bless him!!! He will have a little wait at Talbot Street at the end of his journey!!!

Scheduled for the morning...

Good job mikmik. Once he has come all that way though, I am sure he will be OK to go a little bit further and meet you on the other side of Dublin due to some last minute hitch.
I mean he is not going to come all that way and turn back just because you couldn't meet him right at the station...

How did you get hold of an Irish based scammer?

I would love to have a go at one or two!

Right0o. I've been on to Stire Street Computer Crimes and Fraud Squad. They're gonna mess him around a bit tomorrow, hopefully. The Detective inspector I spoke to said that the lads here are slippery and very cautious.

Mikmik, way to go! I have slapped the Alhaji for being late on the dublin transaction. Now, do your worst, O irish baiter!

That would be rather good. There are lots of lads in Dublin.

Maybe not. The problem is that I'm not actually gonna give him any money, so no crime is committed etc etc...
They wanna play with him, though.

The mugu already tried to change the plan, and came up on the train a day early. This just got him sent to a B&B for the night because my new favourite Irish copper can't see him til the morning.
We wait...

At least they have a sense of humour. Couldn't you give him a couple of yo-yo's, thereby "creating" a crime?

I'd suggest having him hassle a barkeep in the area for the cash, but that'd be bad, involving an innocent. If we had a friendly barkeep somewhere on the board, though, that'd be some fun. Very Happy

so the Gardai are actually interested in this? This could be the first arrest on Irish soil of a lad, would be great and might even give some of our european collegues the kick up the ass they need to get more involved.

@ Lew - I doubt that an Irish based lad would be taken in by any name starting Ira.

The Irish though tend to refer to those bold boys/filthy b*st*rds (take your choice) as the 'Ra - pronounced "rar".

So if anyone's baiting an irish mugu and wants to drop them in the deep dirty stuff then send them to a dodgy pub (Magennises in May Street, central Belfast would be a good place to start) and see if you can get them to ask for that.... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

or you could try baiting as Johnny Adair and send them pretty much anywhere .......

No there have been others - I'm sure I remember some of the lads getting a bit of a rough handling in one incident in an internet cafe in Dublin.

Accidentally, of course.

Bold boys, eh? Your location is london, but you're a Paddy like me. The English would say " naughty boys"!
The story is that our friend will be "meeting" me at 10. 0r thereabouts. I might make him wait about a bit first, then send him to the webcam. Depends on the Gardai

I'll keep ye posted..begorrah!!

Yeah here's the brawl in an internet cafe in Dublin. What's not clear is if he ever got convicted of anything.
