If our good friend and top notch detective Browade is floating around, mybe he could make a call to New York's finest and get us some details when they've collared the lad, since EK decided to bait and move on the same day. Smile

Does anyone else see the irony in the fact both EK and her lad are going to be sleeping in new homes tonight?

@EgyptKah don't sweat it lady. This guy is 5,000 miles from home, traveling with a stolen passport and almost broke in one of the more expensive parts of the planet. The local cops have his pictuure and name and are looking for him. He is looking for his dream girl that he sacrificed his whole life for and the only contact with her will be the hotel she is in.

He is from what you have described at least a borderline bi-polar and suffering depression in a highly stressful situation. He will go back to the hotel because he has no other choice. As soon as he becomes desperate enough he will go to the hotel desk and make inquires and maybe even cause a scene. I have seen people commit suicide in less stressful situations and this man is a criminal and almost broke he will steal. He can't get home and he has no place to go.

Stick a fork in him HE IS DONE! No matter which way he turns he will be toast in NYC. I am trying to stay in e-mail contact with Det. Lynch and hopefully we will hear from him. If not I will e-mail him again later and find out what is shaking with your lad.

HEE,HEE if they pick him up, as low as his self image is he might spill the beans on the Rhino Horn deal and the smugglers if they push him and NYPD has some experts in that area in their Detectives.

At best he will get sent to INS holding and deported. That would actually be a blessing for him as he has no way home as it stands. I wonder how much of a problem it will be for him to get back into Nigeria with no passport or ID and no money?

Let me wax geographical for a moment...

In just a few short hours, I logged onto a website out of the UK to read a post from a woman in Australia about a lad in New York. Then I called a detective in Alabama from my home in California to see about getting said lad arrested while my daughter got ready for a trip to Los Angeles.

In the meantime, other people from around the world have chimed in with their suggestions on how to get this lad arrested and deported back to Africa.

I don't know why, it just kind of boggles the old brain cells.

Hey Guys,

Do this, stop for a minute and really put yourself in this guys shoes and think very seriously about what you are facing and the mess you are in. Now imagine what you would do if you were in that same position. I'm not kidding try to feel what he must be feeling right now, just for a minute. If you can do that you can get a good idea of the eventual outcome of this.
