This one's a quickie bait. As I was swamped with lads at the time, I didn't much care if I lost him, so I enjoyed insulting him instead!

You see, I got David's initial contact email. I replied, asking for 25% instead of the offered 20%. Nothing for weeks. I assumed he had forgotten me and deleted the entire folder, figuring he was a loss. Wrong. He comes steaming in, weeks after I initially contacted him, with this gem.

With the tremendous subject of I will be looking forward to a mutual business relationship with you, David makes contact. Actually, David sounds like he's hyperventilatiing.

Sir,

It is unfortunate that I was unable to respond to your mail dated on 29th-01-2005 all this while, I was actually transferred from my department to another department, this made it impossible for me to follow up things the way it should, it also took me time to convince the person that took my position to corroborate with me to execute the business. Finally, we reached consensus to handle the business together through his supervisions, he also want to use his contact person oversea, but I told him that I have already gotten someone whom we can use to actualize the business, we are yet to conclude with this particular matter, hence we schedule to meet again by weekend.

As it stand now, it will be difficult to give you 25% as you requested, but I still have to bring it up to his notice in due course. You should also be assured that you are not going to face any kind of risk, aseptically in your side, hence proper arrangement will be in place for the smooth execution of the transfer. So you need not to worry as no stone will be left unturned.

Therefore I am contacting you to know if you are still ready to carry on with the business, this will enable me to know how to present my case during our meeting on Weekend. Please do also furnish me with your direct telephone number to enable me contact you during our meeting, this will make him to believe indeed that I have gotten someone. Honestly, it is my humble desire to handle the business with you since I am convinced in my spirit that you stand a better chance of assisting me.

However, I am sorry for my inability to get back to you immediately I got your mail, I was under pressure and could not even think straight, do accept my apology. I will be looking forward to a mutual business relationship with you, as I wait for your urgent response.

Best regards,

David.

Ooookayyy. Exciteable lad. I must have some fun with him.

For a start, I think you had better get it straight that I am a "Madam", not a
"Sir".

Does this person have a name? I'd like to know who I am dealing with.

Are you not aware that normal business hours for you would be a rather rude
hour to be calling me?

I'm not sure about this, David. I mean, I want to help, but you're not exactly
inspiring the greatest confidence in me with all this talk about being
shuffled around in your deparment, and office politics and not being able to
handle pressure or think straight. What assurances can you really offer me
that you're up to this? The last thing I want is to get entrenched in this
deal and have you suffer a nervous breakdown.

Hannah

I figure on not getting much of a response, but Davd doesn't let me down.

Dear Madam,

Thanks for your todayís mail; I appreciate your concern over this matter. I am indeed surprise with your statement, it is unfriendly and I donít know if it is a crime or an offence addressing you as sir if ever it offended you, I do apologize. But honestly, your behavior is unprofessional, hence I advise you to adjust.

On the other hand, I donít want to believe that you are insulting my person, but if I am right, you better watch your words, as I wouldnít want to be insulted by anyone. Anyway, let me not draw conclusion until I have further explanation from you regarding your first and last paragraph. Therefore I need to be clarified on what you meant about nervous breakdown.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

DAVID

Ooh. Aren't we mister high and mighty? I shall be taking him down a peg.

Do not assume I am married. It's proper in a business setting to address a
woman as Ms.

YOU'RE calling ME unprofessional? Excuse me? So, you don't think it's rude to
address a female business partner as the wrong gender? Fine. I'll just start
calling your little Miss David, shall I? And you have got a lot of nerve and
gall calling ME unprofessional and advising ME to "adjust" when you damned
well ignore my correspondence, then send me a panting, pathetic little email
where you sound like you're about to have a nervous breakdown about being
transferred. Some nerve, indeed.

You don't want to be insulted? Do you think I just got into business
yesterday? Do you think I don't know how to deal with incompetents? Boo.
Fucking. Hoo. Fuck off. I don't have time to waste with little boys who can't
seem to find the time to do serious business instead of playing with their
tiny testicles all day. In fact, aji otu nne gi.

You sound like you're losing your marbles, David. Like you're going crazy.
Like yuo're losing what little sense you did have. Clear enough for you?

I doubt you are looking forward to being told to either get your head screwed
on straight, pull it out of your arse and actually do something constructive
or get lost, David. But maybe you like that sort of thing?

Hannah

He never wrote me back. (Yet.) I wonder why? I do half expect to get something from him someday, though. Maybe he got "transferred" again.
