oh wow - love this topic! I have a lot of Angélique Kidjo's music in my collection. A piece of my heart belongs to her - she sang me through some rough times. No pidgin here either, but this is Benin's true gold:

I seem to remember the guy that did 419 Is Just a Game was done for 419 as well.
The KLF who came out with the Justified and Ancients of Mu Mu Land (JAMS) drew out a million pounds, went to an island (somewhere in the Shetlands) and set fire to it in protest about the music industry. Go figure... |
