Not only has he lost several payments, but the worm virus is still infecting Vicky's computer. This means whenever she types for people to ignore Feathers, it substitutes the name Justin Bieber. She has no knowledge of this of course.....but those receiving these messages must be confused.

To add insult to injury, the captain fired the second lawyer today and Vicky has now stepped forward to take over as a no nonsense ball crushing lawyer. She wants $20,000 for a retainer and promises results. The others were asking for $5K, and she makes no apologies for her greed. She is worth it.

A completely fresh account sent him an ominous quote from "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu yesterday, but no response, as expected. If it didn't go straight to his spam, he should be a bit confused. Another quote is on the way. Could somebody PM me a list of email accounts the lad has used as part of this segment of the bait? I have some plans...

An Update:

He is still pestering the good Reverend for $10000 dollars. Of course, he doesn't have that much, so maybe he might be forced to steal church funds.
The lad claims he is stuck in Africa and can't return to Canada without the funds.

He blames Nigel for sending the money to feathers. Nigel slapped him back for only having an account that could take only $2500 at a time.

The Latina woman says she is frightened. She told the barrister that he brother has prayed and lit candles to Santa Muerte to bring revenge and death on anyone who would steal money from her.

There has been silence from the lad toward Victoria for 24hrs. Obviously he is still in contact with the clients. Why would he avoid his business partner? Is he afraid of the virus? Trying to collect the money for himself in the chaos of the moment? If he is distancing himself, is he not susceptible to overtures from Feathers?
In another bait I'm running with the same lad, he is writing frequently urging payments be made quickly. Obviously, he is deliberate in his avoidance of Vicky at this point.

She wrote to the lad this morning as follows:

The key is the worm virus. It was removed from my computer only to come back slightly different. My home security system is playing a loop of a porn movie instead of video monitoring my front doorway and back yard with the cameras. So Ray Bob has two suggestions based on the nasty nature of this virus.
1. We wipe out my hard drive and reinstall programs one at a time and test the system. Then we can be sure it will be clean. This can be a long process.
2. I swallow my pride and approach this feathers guy and say "I surrender" can I please have the code to disable the virus? (How much will that cost?)

So.....should we contact this guy and try to bargain? I know you are not a "tech guy" but your experience and opinion are welcome and necessary.

She did offer up good news though. The captain fired both of the lad's lawyer characters and now Vicky is acting as both lawyer and banker for $20,000. She is going to show him how to handle a client.....

One of the clients has been asking him why a financial secretary for a prestigious law firm in Toronto, has no Canadian bank account. Why should money be sent to Utah, then to Florida for a man who lives in Canada. Very strange...and the lad is dancing around the questions. He says it takes days, and a long time to open an account in Canada. (duh.....no it doesn't....) So the client just happened to be married to a loan officer. (Funny how that happens from time to time.......)

I am still confused by your words. You wrote to me He's making progress in setting up the account doesn't imply that he'll set the account up all in one day; it will take time I am puzzled by this statement. My wife is recently retired from the bank where she worked for years. She was a loan officer. She cannot understand why this G****r gentleman cannot walk into the bank and have the account set up in minutes. Does he have a criminal record or something? There is no reason she offer up other than that for the delay and I would like a fuller explanation of this situation.

Also, I asked why he has an account in Utah if he has a cabin in Florida, but works in Toronto. This makes absolutely no sense. You also wrote I'm sure this has been the reason behind your skepticism in making the transfer I can assure you sir the reason the transfer has not been made lies fully and completely in your inability to explain this. How can it take so long to open a bank account? Is this man a criminal? Or have a criminal past?

Once the lad can finally convince him to pay, then it might be time for Feathers to appear.

The lad is trying to explain the bank account matter by talking without answering. He foolishly held out a bit of hope for a new account.
It was just some few years (2) he got transferred to our firm here in Toronto; so that is why he has an account in the states. Also I'll try to urge him to at least create a time and day as to when he'll have an account set here in Canada;

Since he has had two years in Toronto, it is very strange not to have an account there. However, since you said you would urge him to set up an account, I can wait since that will simplify things. This money (the $50K compensation) will be taxable here, I need to pay my retainer to a Canadian lawyer at a Canadian bank to get a tax deduction. If I pay the Utah bank I will lose thousands of legal deductions on my taxes. So, have your man do the needful and get that account. This matter cannot stand still due to his procrastinating.

The lad sent the harker warning to Barry (the business manager of my Texas rancher character, John), but NOT to Jennifer. He hasn't contacted Jennifer since she slapped him for putting the wrong address on his invoice, causing the check she mailed to him to be returned to her. So, since she didn't get his harker warning, she will happily make her payment to feathers.

Barry wasted 4 days by being "out of the office", letting the lad and "Brad" stew about the bank transfer that Barry initiated before leaving the office last week. The lad, of course, harped about a "payment slip", but Barry didn't go to the bank. He sent the payment through the quickbooks bill pay system for John's business. After all, that's how all businesses in the US pay their invoices to vendors. So, Barry sent him a bogus ACH transfer screen shot.

Note the incorrect address - this is why the transfer will fail, and it will be entirely the lad's fault. Of course, the lad had to stew on the pending transfer for 4 days while Barry was out of the office.

I have rec'd a message from the banker lady telling me that there was a hacker or data thief stealing info. I am not comfortable that a lawyer would have this happen, but I don't blame you for this. I just know it's upsetting and such. However, this message also said that the thief is not feathers, but someone named Justin Bieber. So I am wondering if something else is going on, as though there is a virus? The only Justin Bieber I know is that stupid singer who I wish would just go away.

So to business. Before I send money to anyone I want some I.D. sent to me from you and from Mr. G***** so I know you are real. Then we can send money. This hacking/virus stuff has me nervous and I am going to be careful from now on.

I think you can understand why. I have called the bank and put a hold on the funds until I have more information from people. I have not called them back until people show me who they are.

For anyone who has been given the Brad GoXXXX account at American Express National Bank (account ending in 0146), that account is actually a pre-paid debit card through what Am Ex calls "SERVE". It's not a real bank account, in the traditional sense. As a pre-paid debit card, it can be "loaded" with money and then accessed (transferred to another account or converted to cash) or spent directly (like a normal debit card) by the account owner.

Unfortunately, Am Ex SERVE doesn't even have a fraud department, so getting this account shut down may be a challenge for our mods. However, it can give us an excuse for why the transfer fails. Just wanted to let everyone know in case they want to use the info in their baits.

A new spin on this bait? Since he bought it up, I will explore the possibility church building in Africa. I haven't replied on this yet. I'm sure if he is interested, he will introduce the good Reverend to some new lad characters.
The reference to the constable is about the good Reverend having the RCMP look at his money lost to feathers. The constable was able to confirm that some of the messages were from Nigeria.

That aside, it has nothing to do with the compensation claim I'm handling on your behalf; but since you control a parish over there in Canada, I was thinking maybe you might be needing an expansion of your Parish maybe to a place here in Africa because they are dedicated worshipers and devotees who resides there.

Nevertheless we can discuss about that if you're interested in expanding it OR you can equally make your suggestion known while I'm still here in Africa. So please do keep me updated with the case at hand so that i can as well be aware of the situation on ground sir

Brookey hasn't responded to Jennifer's email about sending the payment to feathers. He's bugging John and Barry about the last "sent" payment - which we will find out tomorrow that it failed for not being a "real" bank account (Am Ex pre-paid debit card).
