^ You have to admit that jose_cuervo is a damn fine online name. Jose by itself is pretty cool and you make it even cooler.

I feel that our many members would be somewhat uncomfortable addressing me as Just. Mr. Just does not sound apropos outside of my mentees.

May we split the difference and ban B8er? You know when TSHTF, he will be crying and useless.

I can wire a ( UK ) plug. Everything seems to come with it's own hardwired plug these days.

I can change a fuse in said plug.

I can use fuse wire in a fuse box, even though we got the house rewired and we've got one of those flip switch boxes now I still have the wire. ( they're useful for cleaning the wash bottle spouts for the windscreen )

I can remember Latin declensions.

I can correctly use the indicators ( blinkers? ) in my car. That's definitely a obsolete skill around here. As is obeying the speed limit.

I can do graphic design the old way...with scissors and glue paste ups, use rubylith for masking, stick-on registration mark stickers, use a letterpress (still have a couple sets of letter dies somewhere), snap it with a camera and use the negative to make it "digital" , etc, etc, etc.
All obsolete and useless now in the digital age, although I still have most of the old supplies, just because...well....no reason.
I can also do a Robin Leech imitation.

I spent years repairing dot matrix and early (black only ) laser printers.
If I recall correctly the first one the company sold was diablo 630 emulation, had no graphic capabilities, could not easily be lifted by one person and cost around £10000.
