I've got a relatively new lad, in addition to the one I've been baiting for the last 6 months. New lad seems much more sophisticated than older lad. New lad has a fake website, and I have discovered with the help of Eater that he has attempted to blackmail previous victims. I'd like to keep baiting him, but it's really hard chatting with him...he's really kinda creepy.

Anyway, he asked for my address so he could send me things, and I gave him a fake.....And apparently he sent flowers. They couldn't be delivered due to incorrect address. He wants to know what happened. Do I claim I had a brain fart and give him another fake, or do I drop him?

What kind of fake website?

The website is for a construction company he supposedly owns. He gave me the site during a chat in order to prove himself. The site is

There is a post in the fake site forum. Just need to send a report. There is also a link to a report filed against the scammer, and apparently he tried to blackmail the victim.

He has enlisted someone claiming to be his mother to call me and tell me what great guy he is. He has a voice like Jeremy Irons, and he has been working very hard to convince me that he loves me and is legit. But he's creepy..... And he likes phone sex....I can talk as dirty as a porn star, but I think he's really getting off on the other end of the line. I actually thought the only thing he was interested in was phone sex when he first contacted me.

Padme, I'll PM you with his info. He drains me way too much....

It's great that you've been able to get a response from him at all. I know many get suspicious of contacts they didn't initiate themselves....and since this guy is savvy, that's a big accomplishment.

He had me kinda confused, as he tended to want to lecture me about love and trust. Almost in a bullying way. NOT the "sweet romantic" way you would expect if he was trying to lure a victim in. I can't imagine anyone falling in love with this guy. He's an a$$.

He sent lots of long emails about falling in love and building trust. Blah blah blah. He also sent lots of links to Youtube videos of his favorite love songs, saying "hit the link baby!" Right.....

I hope he warms up to you Padme. I can't wait to hear all the juicy news!

Ah....so he sounds like more of a "thug" type of lad. Impatient, rather misogynistic, and often not as easy to bait because they want and expect results ($) quickly.

It would be a rare treat to get to see a skilled baiter smack one of these types around....especially one who used blackmail on victims.

It sounds like the long emails he sent you were scripts with lots of cut and paste sections? When you would chat with him, how fluent was his English?
And you spoke with him on the phone? And were you saying he did NOT have a west African accent (sounded like Jeremy Irons)?

No wonder he drained you. He sounds like the type who abuses women in real life.

A sample of one lengthy email. Seems to be a popular passage in scammer emails. Who writes this stuff anyway?

It always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres. Love takes many things: trust, hope, wishes, dreams, and everything you've got, even when you know it's not going be enough. Love is not always fireworks and shooting stars; sometimes it's a simple understanding and trust between two people....................

I've been ignoring him, and this is what he wrote to me earlier:

"I wrote you one(email) but I guess you never cared enough to read or worry if I ever made it safely". He supposedly traveled to India.

I did speak with him on the phone on several occasions. Some conversations were like what you would expect, others were like arguments. And some of them went to the gutter, which is when I would "drop" the phone.

If I didn't answer the phone, or respond timely to a text, he'd accuse me of being out with another man. When I made up an excuse, he'd say I was lying and want to know where I was. He was very possessive. I definitely think he abuses women in real life.

Very fluent in English. Accent is NOT West African. He said he grew up in England. His voice isn't as deep as Jeremy Irons, but it reminds me of him. This lad is younger I think.

He never got around to asking for money like I thought he would. I expected him to ask for help covering his BTA.

I hope someone will get the opportunity to slap him around a bit, cuz he's just nasty.

I sage smudged my house to get rid of his energy....

His opening email was extremely laddish, but his phone number seems to be a real US number, not google voice or text now (ETA --Read the fraud link about his website posted in the fake sites forum. That explains how he has the US number. ) . Still trying to figure out exactly what this is.

Susiescambaiter mentioned that he seems to respond better to abuse so i texted him to say that all of this talk of "how are you doing" and "have you eaten" is boring the crap out of me and if that's all he's got maybe we need to end this. He responded with this really long script mail...

That gives me a headache! But the story is consistent.

After a few emails/texts he proclaimed his love for me and I for him, but I always doubted him. I wouldn't respond to his requests, or not follow through with them(ie: not downloading Skype after promising I would). That twerked him. That's when he started calling. I always had issues with my phone and his calls would go to voicemail. That pissed him off too. Which would make him call even more. And his calls would still go to voicemail....He would like to call at night around bedtime, so if I was actually able to answer his call he'd start with the sex talk. Then I'd "drop" the phone and when he called back, guess what? It would go to voicemail.....

I have another new lad, and he just sent me a sexy email too, but not quite the porn that x-rated lad sent. I'm starting to think it must be me....

Some of the lad go right to the sexy times crap, others are a little more scripted. I'd skip the phone if it makes you uncomfortable. You can always keep it in e-mail.

This is really strange...first he blackmails a victim, then he does explicit sex talk with Susie (and has no African accent on the phone), and now he's boringly scripted with Padme?

Could it be that it's different lads in a group sharing victims? So not all the same lad?
Or maybe he decided to hold off on anything x-rated this time because he thinks it caused him to lose Susie?

Did you mean me or Susie? I don't bait but have been a rapt audience here for years....plus have read almost every romance scam story on every anti-scam website on the internet.

It has been my impression that lads generally seem uncomfortable with explicit sex talk....and I'd assumed it was likely due to inexperienced youth or cultural restrictions or both.
The baiter Mountainlion would often goad lads into sexually explicit emails and you could tell they had cut and pasted bits off the internet, usually resulting in something comically inept...and seeming unable to ad-lib it on their own when it came to anything pornographic.

The ones who do often seem more worldly and experienced are the ones going to college in Malaysia...and more likely to exhibit thug behavior and more likely to be able to comfortably converse in sexually explicit conversation.

Right now I'm intrigued because not sure if this guy is just a typical cut and paste lad...OR...is he one of the more rare pervy lads who actually love to engage in sex talk.

I did receive those scripted emails when we first started chatting. And a few more. After a few he asked me to Skype and I wouldn't. That's when he started calling, and the phone sex, which I didn't care for very much. So I hung up on him and didn't return his calls or texts for a week or so. When I did, he explained that he felt it was a perfectly natural way to get to know each other.

The lad on the phone has what I think is a British accent(I've been listening to examples of British and Nigerian accents, and I lean toward British). He speaks very well, and doesn't seem like the lad sending the scripted emails.

I haven't blocked him, and I'm still getting texts from him. He's not calling, which is odd, because before if I ignored him, he'd blow up my phone. I think there are 2 lads working together, but they aren't on the same page.

As for the porno email I received, I'm going to google some phrases to see what I can find. The language is a little different, but not off.

If anyone would like some interesting reading, let me know. I'll send you a copy.
