Are you still ignoring him? Interesting that he at one point claimed he was going to fly back home. Think he's got money after all? He's supporting himself in fiji somehow.

Did you ever learn the connection between him and the African lad? I'm presuming there was an African partner in the beginning (because what would be the point of an Austrian pretending to be African), but I may have missed that bit among the threads.

Yeah, I'm letting him twist at this point. The longer I do, the longer he stays and bitches. As far as I know he's been sleeping in the airport and a couple nights on somebody's couch and may have borrowed money to take the ferry.

As for the flow of the lad's identity from place to place, I've lost track. Over the last few weeks he's sent emails as several different characters, including copying and pasting an email phishing scam into a new address to get me to reply (which I did with a single word answer which started a new string of whining from yet another address). He also has at least one or two others sending messages from his regular addresses (he has six that he uses for his regular communication) with varying writing styles so it's pretty much impossible to know who's who and what's what. He even pretended to be the "border patrol" and promised me jail time. That one got a laugh.

The only thing that I really know at this point is that he's in Fiji and his life sucks as he provides us continuing entertainment and glimpses of deep thought. He's claimed to be flying out nearly every day, followed by whining that he can't afford it. He's "scheduled" on the 11:00 flight out tonight, but he's said that five or six times.

You should have told me in time that you had nothing for me to pick up. Rather you wanted to waste my time in Fiji Prison. (I don't really think he went to prison of course, three weeks in Fiji probably just felt that way.) I did all you asked me to do and because I didn't show up at the heliport at the appropriate time that is why you cancelled meeting him while you wasted my whole lot of time in Marina with apology of being stucked up in another Island which I accept.

But you can't accept to my apology for my mistake not meeting up in time. At the heliport why? Is it because you never been in Fiji or because you never had any bonds or are you just a serious joker who can waste your time on internet to doom someone.(Here comes my favorite part.) I doubt it because i know this money is real because i worked it out but you cheated me out.

Write me back now with your answer.

Snicker...I suspect this isn't the end at all. He's so certain that I have his money and that not getting it was somehow his fault that he may just keep whining for a while.

Chances are that he'll be leaving Fiji pretty soon so I may tweak him again later and berate him for screwing everything up so badly.

He's still dangling but won't be coming to Fiji again, he claims to have blown through all his cash on the first trip (such a damn shame). He's had another pal of his contact me but he can't travel until November so we'll see.

Without a doubt, one of my favorite baits so far. This lad can't even begin to understand why you would do something like this to him, and not gain some type of monetary kickback, and that is his fatal mistake. Some things are way better than money, like this wonderful lad pain!! Awesome!!

The truly entertaining part at this point is that he's still convinced I'm lounging in Fiji with his money and he needs only to show up to be a millionaire. I'm just amazed this has gone on this long without him figuring out he's been had.

I would truly like to know, would he even understand the concept behind what you have done to him, or is it so alien to his mindset that it's impossible for him to entertain the idea of doing something without a monetary gain? If that's the case he will never believe you don't have 'his' money, which is great!

Nope, no concept that he's being baited and dragged all over the world. At some point he decided that the money has to exist and it's only a matter of getting to me to get rich. I wonder about the psychology of it as well...he can't admit to himself that he's been cheated so he just keeps on trying.

I'm certainly not going to tell him any different!

Amazingly, the game continues. He'll go silent for a while and then magically re-appear. He's trying to get me to send cash through another lad because he claims he doesn't have a "permanent address". This looks to be the Benin lad again so I'm hoping to get him back on a bus. The last time I sent him bouncing around Africa he was in Save so I'm trying to pin him down to see if he's still there.

I suspect I'm going to need to see a business associate in Accra...and then head down the coast to a resort somewhere.

I've reminded him that he just sits on his ass and has everybody do things for him and it's high time he be a man and do it himself. He wants me to send him $5,000 so he can afford to go to Accra and I showed him he can take a bus for $110 and if he can't manage to come up with THAT he must be one shitty scammer.

As opposed to the learned ass thug boy he claims to be, of course.

Save, Benin to Accra, Ghana passes through Togo...and takes 39 hours one way. A lovely way to see the countryside.

So I told him I was meeting an oil investor in Accra who can convert the bearer bonds I have for him into cash and got this:

"Why the hell is the islands investment won't Ben enough for your living. That you want to invest in Africa oil company. Make sure you don't get scammed and I can help you invest in oil company than he will ever do. My brother is the governor of our state.

Hope your investor can't exchange and keep our money. And probably since am picking cash will it be in naira or dollar or cedis . I prefer it is in dollars. And again don't forget the iPhone 6. If possible get me new iPhone 7 from Suva store while coming if you can't get to find the iPhone 6 or instead of bringing it at all get me new iPhones 7 from the Suva store."

My favorite thug boy is totally engaged again, I'll save it up and publish a volume 2 (3? I've lost track). At this point he believes that I'm flying from from Fiji to Accra and he needs to be on a bus today to meet me.

34 hours by bus as the company goes around Togo and through Burkina Faso. Love it.

And he did it. Save, Benin to Accra, Ghana (a 39-hour bus ride...sweet). Sadly he screwed around too long and I left for Elmina. Lucky for him that I'll be passing through Accra tomorrow so he can get his cash.
