Welcome to eater!
At the top of the screen is the profile button. Click that and go to edit profile. At the bottom of the screen you can either upload a pic or link an url. The picture can't be too big or else it won't work.
If you want to start baiting; read the stickies, bait safe, and have fun. |

Try this: Download the picture, scale it to a reasonable size with Gimp or Image Magick or some other program, and upload it with the form. |

I've given up on trying to get a picture of myself (an Avatar) into my profile so I opted instead for just a symbol (a radiation sign) but even that failed to upload  |
